I haven't read their Beautiful Bastards series either, but I really enjoyed some of their others (including My Favorite Half-Night Stand, so I'm excited to hear what you think of it). My favorite by them is probably Roomies, but I know my love of music makes me biased, haha!

Another winner from this duo. I completely loved the somewhat out of body effect that Millie had while writing out her feelings as her alter ego dating profile to her best friend. I did find it very unbelievable that Reid didn't get clued into the fact he was talking to her earlier, but get the necessity to story. Will keep reading on from this duo.

I really liked this one as well. I think my favorite of the 3 I've read is The Honey-Don't List but all 3 have been excellent. A couple of others I've really loved in this style recently are Our Stop and Would Like to Meet. Both have similar vibes in writing as well as unique takes on the genre.

Review
This book is different from a lot of romantic suspense stories. Bastien wasn't just hard, he was one step away from being evil. Chloe was a bit of a stereotypical heroine - walking into places that were dangerous, etc. She and Bastien somehow worked together though and the committee is an interesting concept i'll be interested in reading more of

Shadow's Claim (Immortals After Dark, #12; The Dacians, #1) by Kresley Cole Shadow's Claim
Rating: 4.5 stars
Review: Kresley Cole is one of my favorite authors, there is no doubt about that and I love her IAD series but seriously Bettina has to be the most unlikable heroine Cole has ever written about! So why did I reread this book again? Simple, because of Trehan Daciano. He is one of my favorite heroes of the IAD series along with Lachlain and Conrad. Unlike Lachlain and Conrad's mates, Emma and Neomi, who were simply brilliant, Bettina was stupid, immature and totally pathetic. Honestly, I felt bad for the poor guy for getting stuck with someone as annoying as her.

Ris | 485 comments I’m actually going to have to Pass for Week 5. I was reading “Swordheart” as an ebook from my library and it was due back today (I thought I could beat the system by disconnecting from WiFi but that didn’t seem to work for me, sadly). I’ve placed it on hold again, because I’ve been enjoying the 2/3 I’ve read so far!

I've spent one of my Curious Cat Lives on It Ain't Me, Babe.

It ain't exactly my choice of poison. (view spoiler)

It sure ain't concerned with a little thing called science - not medical, nor psychological. (view spoiler)

It is cast with striking characters!

I'll be spending another two lives on Heart Recaptured (with Lilah's past trauma) & Souls Unfractured (presenting the psychology of the two most damaged characters in the novel).

Oh, yay! I'm glad you liked it! Two other books I devoured when I was really in the mood for great romances with female sports player heroines that I'd recommend taking a look at are Waking Olivia (lots of drama, dark past, great love story) & The End Game (lots of drama, tough situations, great love story).

This was a really interesting concept - Lorna's brother died, leaving her and her younger brother destitute. She happens on a group stealing her brother's body from his grave. She needs money so joins the gang. The execution of the concept didn't work for me - I didn't buy the romance aspect and thought the villains were cardboard.
