Here are your September 2020 Mini Challenges!


RULES

** Books DO NOT all have to be mysteries. You can use any genres.

** A book can be used only once for this challenge, but can be used for other challenges (Seasonal, World Trip, Ultimate, etc.).

** You DO NOT have to choose books in advance, and can change your mind at any time if you do.

** Do as many as you are able and have fun!


1. September 6 is Fight Procrastination Day and Read a Book Day:
Fight procrastination and read a book you’ve been putting off reading.

2. September is National Sewing Month and September 10 is Sewing Machine Day: Read a book that features sewing, or has sewing notions on the cover.

3. September 19 is International Pirate Day: Read a book featuring a pirate, boat, or treasure* in the book or on the cover. Don’t forget to talk like a pirate!

4. September 22 is Autumn Equinox: Read a book set during autumn, or with ‘autumn’ in the title.

5. September 26 is National Hunting and Fishing Day: Read a book in which someone hunts for clues or fishes for information.


* Remember, treasure can be money, jewels or artwork.

You should be able to copy and paste, that's what I do. Maybe if you are in the app that might not work but on a computer or the web browser on your phone you should be able to copy it from Heather's first post. Hope this helps.

Mary, read Linda’s post #12, as Joan did. She explains it well.

I will add that, if you are using the GR app or a cellphone the site is, unfortunately, not fully functional. IMO, you’re better off switching to “desktop view.” You can do that by scrolling to the bottom of the page—but I can’t remember if that option is offered on every page, or if you have to go to the homepage to do that.

I don't know how to tag books but I'll try. @BrokenBoneChina by Laura Childs is the one I'm reading right now.
