Blue | 825 comments Hi,

I am looking for books with people with a disability of some kind in like a futuristic society or post apocalyptic.

I know of this short story book which has some awesome stories in it and I am looking for books like that both YA, NA and Adult would be great.

Book: Defying Doomsday

Blue is still looking...

"YA/NA disability in dystopia/science fiction/fantasy

I am looking for Young Adult or New Adult books, traditionally published, that features an MC or secondary character with a disability.

Defying Doomsday is an short story anthology that features this trope.

Can be the world just ended, or can be the world ended centuries ago, and how someone who is blind, deaf, has CP, missing a limb, etc survives in sci-fi, dystopia, apocalypse, fantasy novels."

bookel | 4017 comments The Obernewtyn series by Isobelle Carmody, definitely! A blind character, Dameon.
Andra by Louise Lawrence.

Pamela Love | 1509 comments While The Giver does have a blind person in it, they are unnamed and have nothing to do with the plot. Still, I'm putting it here for completeness.

MJ | 1613 comments Apple has the show See with Jason Mamoa. Is that based on a book?

The world goes blind.

There’s also a movie, Blindness, with Julianne Moore.

Which is based on the novel Blindness. The book is far better than the movie.
