see, i agree with Catherine, ian's nice and all, but i do find him a little whiney. I like Jared more, though he does make ian shine like an angel a bit. lol

lol :)
i was about to say something here, but deleted it cause it was a spolier for the end of the book. I just don't have the heart to give the end away

I'm not even nearly finished. I'm nearing the 400th page though :)
haha are we gonna have a team jared vs. team ian fight? lol they both are awesome, i just think he has a tiny bit more awesome to him. after all, she is invading mel's body, so of course he's not got just warm up to her!

I actually really really liked Jared. Near the ending where it's just him and Wanda.. well, I was nearly bawling my eyes out lol. I love love love Jared :P.
I also love Ian though. I liked the way Meyer fixed up the love ...square? though.
The ending was a cliffhanger, which I really really hate. But I'm now excited for the next book to come out! :)

Yea, I understand what you mean.. but at the same time, I felt like it wasn't over. I'm pretty sure Meyer's making it a trilogy though - that's what GoodReads says at least..
Catherine wrote: "Yeah, like what she did with Breaking Dawn!"
What'd she do with Breaking Dawn? :S

a somewhat similar comparison would be how an author dies and someone else finishes the series.
it just that the writing and plot change, and that's what ruins a series

Because the style is different, the writing is, because the writing and the style are the plot changes, changing the book.

Basically, we were just talking about which our favorite male character was. Whether we found the beginning of the novel slow to get into. Um, what else? Oh, the ending, and just other stuff that happened in the book. :)

I loved Jamie, he's such a sweetheart and cares so much for Wanda even though she's inhabited his sister's body.
I really liked Jared also, but at times I couldn't help but want to smack him, as he can be such an ass. I could see his point though, so I began to care more for him as the book went on.
I loved Ian, he was such an absolute sweetheart. Like, wow. :)
I like Wanda better than the name Wanderer. I felt Wanderer sounded too much like some alien life form (which, yes I know that's what she is, but still). :P And I always thought Wanderer sounded as if she was lost and lonely. I don't know, that's just me.

And it would be great if you started talking about something completely random about the book, I think after five pages of comments, we've pretty much said everything there is to say about Team Jared vs Team Ian or how the beginning is too slow! :P
