Did you read it in English?Was the book for younger kids or for teens?
I was 11, so probably around 10-13. Is that kids?
Probably it would be classified as middle grade.Did you read the book in Denmark? Was it in English?
Yes I read it in Denmark and it was translated to Danish, but quite sure it was written by an English author.
I'm not sure because in the description it only describes one sister, and there's two sisters. I forgot to mention that I'm pretty sure the book is from two POV from the sisters.
According to Google Books, there are two sisters and a brother."Thirteen-year-old Mitch and her younger brother and sister live in fear of their father, who is a dangerous drunk. A caravan is the same thing as a trailer, correct? Was it on wheels?Did they live in a trailer park with other families?

The book is about a mom and her two daughters fleeing from an abusive dad with basically nothing. They live in a caravan and think one of them meet an author, who talks about some stones that are said to be magical or something like that (not that magic is involved).
Think their mom begins working on this cafe near a beach, while the girls start at a school in the area.
The younger sister lies to her new classmates in order to get friends, and even think there's a school play she's participating in.
The older sister meets a boy (his name is maybe Jack?), I think it's because he plays the violin on the street.
SPOILERS AHEAD
...
Eventually the younger sister friends discovers she lied.
The older sister and the boy fall in love throughout the book and even think the boy has a family member that is sick.
Then the dad discovers their hideout and contacts them and wants them to come home with him, but they refuses. He puts the caravan on fire and even think he goes to the school.
At last I think the sisters are being asked questions by teachers, in which they finally tell the truth about their dad to someone outside their family.
