Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Okay so the only books that would be moved on the review thread would be The Price of Salt if you change your last comment for Izzy's book before scores. All the other books are either CR or not posted as I found a way to use Claire's Neuromancer instead of Jamie's Roots.

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Oh but wait I don't have Bone Crossed finished. Dang. That way we won't get our line yet. :(

message 153: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments At the rate I'm reading I will probably finish The Cerulean tonight but that sadly won't help with a line. :(

message 154: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16038 comments Maybe if we move everything now, and dont move anything later we will be good. I know the other team has two extra players so that kind of scares me. Although Jaime wont be on much.

message 155: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16038 comments So post Dorian Gray for >1929? If you dont think you will get to those books that might be the smartest move. I will look and see what we can move as well, but I have a feeling most wont be able to be moved. I know mine only fit 16-20 except Dorian Grey.

Maybe. A lot of the moving I proposed is really more on the SS then the actual thread.

I think we are still in the lead and with our bonuses I think we will be fine. I'm going to make The Cerulean (The Cerulean Duology, #1) by Amy Ewing at BR if I can so that will get us more points too.

message 157: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16038 comments Oh. If its on the SS then that much easier. Lol

I wanna do The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson with Ashleigh but I think she missed my comment. If we set that up that will be 2 books to fill in the random spots to complete the grid once.

Yes. for the top left corner spot.

It's unlikely I'll get to them. I really want to but I'm not reading as much as I would like and I don't want to give you guys hope. I'll actually take them out of the SS now so we know what I'll be reading.

message 159: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments I did a cursory look at the ones that are done. I don't think we can move much else.

message 160: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16038 comments Okay we will move Dorian Gray to that spot then so it is covered. I have taken books off as well that arent buddies. If they become buddies or I run out of books I will add them back.

Where did you wanna put Izzys book? I dont think I saw where.

Like 90% of it is. The only two that are 'posted' that I want to move are The Price of Salt and The Murder of Meso whatever which Sarah has not counted yet so it would just involve you changing your comment.

message 162: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Let me change it on the SS so you have an idea of what I mean.

Changing it to what? I can do that now.

message 164: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments So black is move and strike is where it was originally.

message 165: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16038 comments Okay.

message 166: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments I kept the colors in the text so that we know if it was CR, Reviewed or Posted

message 167: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments So the move should give us 2 lines? Once everything is done and posted. We have two that need posting and 2 that are CR. I didn't bother moving anything in red as who knows if it will be read or not.

message 168: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16038 comments I changed it :)

message 169: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments The only line we miss out on is the last up down one but that will be completed once I finish Bone Crossed. It would just make it so we don't have so many doubles.

message 170: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Awesome! TY!

I'll leave the black and strikes for now so people know what we did in case they are confused.

message 171: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (last edited Mar 09, 2020 04:49PM) (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments I think it might be nice to change the finished books to black so we know when we complete a row. We'll keep the text as the blue color but the box could be black.

message 172: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Oooh I think Claire just added a bunch of books to the SS!

message 173: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16038 comments We need to ask for Ashleigh one review to be switch to where you changed it and then we should be good.

Everything looks good :) 2019 is getting a little out of hand.

message 174: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Yup. No particular hurry right now though as we still need other books to complete a line. :)

I will change the Murder in Meso to blue again and delete the other spot for it.

message 175: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments We have a few members who don't seem to be chatty and haven't posted yet so that might cover some spots. I'll see what they are doing/reading.

message 176: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16038 comments You can erase dorian Gray as well because I know about that change and already marked it down.

message 177: by Courtney (last edited Mar 09, 2020 04:58PM) (new)

Courtney | 16038 comments I can move Rebel Heart (Rush Duet, #2) by Penelope Ward to 2018 instead. Unfortunately it only works for 2 years. 😭😭

Jamie (TheRebelliousReader) (iambrucewayne) For 1929 it can also include books from years prior as long as it was published before 1930 so then I've got that covered. I'm going to start reading The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (Oz, #1) by L. Frank Baum either tonight or tomorrow morning and can use it for 1924 so that would give us another line.

message 179: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments So I think Brittani has read A Whole New World by Liz Braswell

I think Megan has read The Matrimonial Advertisement (Parish Orphans of Devon #1) by Mimi Matthews

Beatrice hasn't seemed to have read anything that will count for a year yet.

Izzy seems to have only read one book and posted it.

Sadly neither of the books that seem to have been read will help us with any lines currently.

I don't know if that is worth moving right now. We can move it once more turn yellow/green or blue. We might end up just finishing the last line like 5 times. Lol. I do want one complete round though first if we can. ^_^

I will be finishing Dorian Gray tonight for that spot. Do we think we should start prepping to finish the grid again?

We are using Courtney's for that spot but that book should have tons of editions so we can use it for a current red spot. ^_^

message 184: by Claire (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments Sorry I've been slacking so badly, I'll get my reviews up today!

Thank you guys for taking the time to sort out the books to be used for each space~ :D

Jamie (TheRebelliousReader) (iambrucewayne) Sorry! I didn't even realize. This is why I should read first before commenting. LOL. There's so many editions of that book so just let me know what needs to be covered and I'm positive there's an edition of it that will fit. :)

IDK. We are at least about 1/3 to half done but it's also still the 10th. Maybe we can when we are 3/4's done? We already are close to finishing the bottom line again.

NP. It happens.

I love sorting books. Just wish I did it before we posted a couple of them to save the mods time. ^_^

NP. Lol. Maybe we can start banking some of the really good ones that will cover pretty much the whole grid? Like still try to use them if possible but use the ones that only cover a few years first. That way we might finish a second grid?

message 189: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (last edited Mar 09, 2020 05:09PM) (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments I think we should try to make a rule that if a books has so many editions or 'years' we bank it till a certain date. We can choose to use it earlier if someone has to drop a book but then the last like 10 days we can start slotting in the banked for the first/second round.

message 190: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Especially since we are still technically missing like half our team due to non chattiness or not having any reviews posted yet. ^_^

message 191: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Can I try something on the SS and see if it works better for everyone? I will make sure to change it back if you guys don't like it.

message 192: by Claire (new)

Claire Chibi | 1826 comments Oh yup I'll be reading mostly Agatha Christie books this month so they can all basically be put in whichever year we need to fill, feel free to move them around the spreadsheet if needed and I'll just check it before I post reviews :D

message 193: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16038 comments I only asked about Rebel Heart becaus eits going to be my next book. I am taking my time with ACOMAF and only reading a couple chapters a day until I run out of buddies which will be soon.

I'd move it to 2018 then as it will be a while before I read Burn Bright so it will balance a bit more. :)

message 196: by Courtney (last edited Mar 09, 2020 05:28PM) (new)

Courtney | 16038 comments Okay that works for me :)

I will also be reading the Vanessa Vale books I posted on page one sometime this month, but because they are not buddies I didn't add them. I believe they all work for 15-20.

message 197: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments So that's how I propose the SS look like. If you want we could keep both. I just need less 'clutter' or I can't see what's going on. ^_^

message 198: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16038 comments I just finished Dorian and omg! I dont know how I made it through. It was not my favorite for sure haha.

I will check it out in a bit after I post my review :)

message 200: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16038 comments It all looks good, but what are the black boxes for? Are they suppose to be books that can be posted else where?
