So my goal is to finish the two series I'm currently reading.
(I will be reading some of these in Feb so whatever I'm left with will be for March.
(Also will be reading at least one or two of these in March. Hopefully)I'm also going to try to finish my HP 2 audio this month.
I'm also really excited to read
and
Also as of right now I dont really have much of a TBR. I dont wanna schedule a lot of buddy reads considering I know I wont be reading qutie a few days this month.

I dont have many options to place my currentbuddy reads though. Sorry guys. I will try to make up for it if I have extra reading time.
: 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 (there is also a 2020 but its saying June of 2020 so I dont know if that will work.
: 2015 or 2019
: 2016
: 2015
I forgot I also wanted to listen to some Vanessa Vale in March. They are fast and easy to get through, but I probably wont find a buddy for them.

: 2016, 2017, 2..."Sarah says the June 2020 edition would be accepted. :)
So most of my books are in the space of 2010 and above. But I have found a classic or two that will work for <1926

NP. ^_^
Checking in! Should we use a google sheet to keep track of the years visually? I'll start putting one together:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
So far I have:
2017-2019
Like every year after 1984(maybe)
2015-2019I'm thinking of reading a few classic mysteries since those have new editions coming out practically every year so we can fill in that first row easily.
I have alot of 2015 through 2020. So I definitely need to find something to help out else where. I also found a buddy read for
. However, the last two books for the Vanessa Vale dont reach the 200 page limit so I will have to combine them and only use one year.

Love the spreadsheet Claire!
So I went ahead and put all the books I have planned so far on the SS if I need to take some off just let me know.
Im thinking about doing
but there are so many pages and I dont wanna go through them all right now. Haha I will probably add it when other people are done adding so I know the best place to put it.
Courtney wrote: "Im thinking about doing

My weakest point will be most of the 1900's. I can do really early or really late but the middle is really hard for me. Already stretching my ability by listening to the 3 classics. :/
I know the feeling. I am trying to look for older books, and blah haha. I will have to search my TBR and see what I can find.
Courtney wrote: "I know the feeling. I am trying to look for older books, and blah haha. I will have to search my TBR and see what I can find."Same. But I just don't like books from that era. lol. I don't even like movies from that time. I am picky. :P
The good thing is I did find that Alanna was published in 1983 so I can use that if we need it. Didn't plan on reading it but I'm hoping to be flexible with my reads. I have no BRs so I can afford to be.
Just have to make sure I can get it either on audio or as an ebook I can only use the books I already own in my kobo/kindle or from the library. If we are desperate I can buy a few books but not too many. :)
I just found one for 96. Im going to see if someone wants to buddy it with me. I am probably going to get in trouble for not going serious. Opps.

Lol the other tram has some fast readers as well though so I am sure we will still be challenged to keep it up.
If we need to fill in a gap in the 80s-90s I'm happy to pick up another Agatha Christie book or something, those have new editions being published practically every year :DBy the way @Anna, do you have a BR planned for Order of the Phoenix? I'm planning on reading it this month too!
Claire wrote: "If we need to fill in a gap in the 80s-90s I'm happy to pick up another Agatha Christie book or something, those have new editions being published practically every year :D"Awesome.
I'm really hoping one of the people not checked in really liked books in the mid 1900's. Those seem the hardest right now. ^_^
I've found 5 books that were originally published 1930-50s, but have got editions published almost every decade up until the present day so they can be moved around if needed :)
Hope you guys don't mind, but I've added a second page to the spreadsheet so we can check off which editions our books work for in case we need to shuffle stuff around.I was having trouble putting books on the first page so I thought if I had the second page, I could check off which ones my books work for haha.
As of right now I only really have 2 that has more then 3 publish years, but I think that page is a good addition to the spreadsheet. It will make it easier with the classics.
That's a great idea Ashleigh, thank you! Yeah the classics will be great to fill in those pesky 80s-00s.

I don't but I'm not 100% sure I will get to it. I'll do my darndest to though. I'm listening on audio and I'm also listening in French so it can be slow.
No worries!I'm not sure if I could take French Harry Potter seriously, I've been told that in French a 'magic wand' is called a 'baguette magique' and I just find that way too funny 😂
Can you speak French?! 😁 I'm always really excited when I meet people who speak it. Every time is a learning opportunity. It can be funny at times. Doesn't help that I can be lost at times but I'm trying to improve my French so I figure this was a good way.
Yeah there are times when I lol. Like 'Hogwarts' is 'Poullard (sp?' the first time I heard that I was like WTF? Really? Why?
Also, the narrator is TERRIBLE when he does the 'voices'. Really good for everything else but like I recently got to Malfoy in the book and it was almost unintelligible. Like I could not understand what he was saying because of the 'voice'. Not something you want when you are already struggling.
I did a few years of French in school but that was a long time ago, I really should have kept it up but I ended up switching to Japanese which I was more interested in.Poullard? Yikes 😂

Me too. I was in French Immersion till grade 5. So it's been a while. Really wish I had kept up with it.
I too studied Japanese. I also wish I had kept up with it as I hate waiting for manga to be translated. :P
Yup. Weird things like that. Like Harry Potter is a bit weird to begin with becuase it's a fantasy book. I mean if HP wasn't so popluar and we hadn't grown up with it. We would laugh at parseltongue too.
I'm sad today. I can't find a good historical drama. All the ones I've tried aren't translated and the others I have watched too many times. :(
Yay a fellow manga fan! I self-taught myself Japanese in high school and then did 4 semesters in university, I would buy manga in Japanese and read them as practice (with a lot of help from google translate) :DI've been slacking since I graduated though, I should really make an effort to keep studying.
That's true! It's amazing what we can get used to when they're in popular culture for so long.
I looooooooooooooooove manga. I haven't read too much lately as it's getting harder and harder to find. My local stores don't sell anything but the most popular and most of those aren't my genre.I actually took two classes in high school. I loved it but it was hard. Completely different from English.
I never got good enough to try. So much of the manga is in Kanji.
Definitely. I have tried self studying with this series
honestly one of the best self guides I have ever read. IKR? It's basically like slang. The first time you hear it it can sound really stupid but then by the 100th it's like normal.
