So, I'm doing this challenge on my own, I started early in September and I'm planning to finish by Sept. 2016. I read both in English and Italian, so I'd like to complete the English alphabet, which has 5 more letters than the standard Italian one.
Can somebody suggest me some titles for letters J K W X Y? Thank you!

A few suggestions - not very classic, at least not old ones:
J Just Kids about Patti Smith & Robert Mapplethorpe as young artists
or JPod
K The first Rankin crime novel Knots and Crosses or if you never want to order fish on a monday again Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly

Hard to suggest a particular book, not knowing your tastes. There's quite a few ideas for tricky letters if you scroll back through this thread. I'd personally recommend
J - Jane Eyre
K - The Kite Runner
W - Wuthering Heights
X - Xingu
Y - The Yellow Wallpaper
These listopia lists might help too. There's different ones for other letters of the alphabet.

Good luck :)
Thank's to all of you! I think I'll need classics, or bestsellers, since I usually borrow books in English from public libraries.

Jane Eyre, Where Angels Fear to Tread, Wuthering Heights, Xingu, and The Yellow Wallpaper, are all available free via an e-reader.

That's the wonderful thing about classics, most of them are in the public domain, so free to read online, or via an e-reader. It certainly helps me out!
Done! Two of the last reads were The Quiet American and The Violent Bear it Away, two great books. Soon I have to read more Graham Greene and Flannery O'Connor! So many books, so little time :/. Especially O'Connor, her book both thematically and stylistically reminded me of Faulkner... I just simply loved it!I am now done with all the challenges (A-Z author & title, 12+2 classics) I started in the beginning of the year and I doubted I could finish them all. Probably won't be doing A-Z title challenge next year, as finding books that I think I would enjoy for rare characters is very hard if not impossible. Fortunately Qiu Xiaolong and Raymond Queneau have published multiple works, so the A-Z author challenge should be in the agenda next year.
Congratulations on your finish Miikka - I still need my 'V' book so might check out The Violent Bear It Away
Congratulations Miikka on finishing your challenge. I used The Quiet American last year, I too was hooked on Graham Greene's writing. I'm thinking about reading Our Man in Havana, we'll see.

I finished this challenge!! I wondered at one point if I ever would when I seemed to be stuck on 22 of 26. Now I have completed all the challenges for this group that I attempted. It feels nice to get them done.
Yesterday, I finished Night, my last (and one of the best) book for this challenge. I read a lot of wonderful books for this, but my favorite was The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver.

Well done Kent and Janet! I definitely won't be completing this one in 2015, I have 6 tricky books left! I'll post 2016 A-Z challenges in a couple of weeks time :)
That's nice to know, thanks :) I think I'll only finish the A-Z titles this year, and next year I'd like to do the A-Z authors:).
I'm the other way around, finished the authors a while ago, titles just didn't happen for me this year. Although I don't actively look for suitable books unless I've got a few left, then I might seek out those X,Y,Z choices!
Well, although I've found authors whose last names begin with Q and X, I don't think I have time to read them this year. A pity because I'm pretty close, but I can read them for next year instead :). With titles, the only letter I really struggled with was X.. and now N, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to read Neuromancer for that, it's also on my incomplete 2015 challenge list :).
Sounds like you've done well with both challenges. I hope you enjoy Neuromancer I've always wondered about that one, but it remains on my TBR longlist.
Pink wrote: "Sounds like you've done well with both challenges. But it's on all 'best sci fi novels' lists I've seen, and so a must-read for me.
Yes exactly, it seems to always pop up on lists of books you should read, so it feels like one I should read, even if it doesn't necessarily appeal.
Only J left now! And started reading Joe Steele for that. I think I can finish this one! My A-Z Title List 2015

Good reading, Bob! Excellent year.
Good reading, Bob! Excellent year.
Congratulations!! Inspired Z choice, one book, two Z categories. Was that the result of superior planning, or luck?
I finished the last letter on 30th of December. The last book was Neuromancer and I enjoyed it, it was better than I had thought even though I wouldn't put it on my favourites list. I rated it 4 stars and am ready for the 2016 challenges :) my 2015 list
