Callie Stockman | 3 comments I eead a book when I was in 5th grade that was a juvenile mystery that centered around the magpie nursery rhythm (One for sorrow, two for joy, etc). This would have been around 1995. In my mind it's in the same category as Gone Away Lake, so much so that I thought it WAS that book for a while.
Any help would be appreciated

I'm adding "Juvenile" to your header because I doubt anyone will know what "J" stands for.

Ann | 166 comments Maybe Secret of the Seven Crows by Wylly Folk St. John? The writeups and reviews don't mention the rhyme, but I know this is the books where I first encountered the "one for sorrow" rhyme as a kid.
