SOLVED. White/LeBlancs are Scammers? [s]

Okay, so the book is about this girl who is...going to a wedding (I think) and her mother warns her to stay away from the White family because they're scammers. Later on she meets a family by the name of LeBlanc (I think, maybe Blanc or Blanche). I can't remember what happens in the middle. Near the end she lets them stay in her family's cottage without her parents' knowledge. It ends up that they sue her family by saying that they (the LeBlancs) fell in the shower at their cottage. End of story, the LeBlancs were the Whites. Please help meeee.
