Read-a-thon #1: 23-29 Feb

Our first RaT for JRI! is going to have a very simple goal which is:

Clear currently-reading list to prep for the upcoming Mini Challenge (to start Mar-1)

I know a couple of us have completed a Prompt while many of us are distracted by the myriad of other reading challenges so let's use this last week in Feb to pay a bit more attention to JRI!

There is also a Group goal of 12,000 pages. It is ambitious but I'm sure we can give it our best 😜

Note: any pages read for JRI! count for this even if you are already mid-read when RaT officially begins or only just started reading when RaT officially ends

February 23-29 will be my last week in Indiana before I move to Maryland. So I''ll be concentrating especially on finishing books I have checked out from the library and have to return before I go. I'm currently listening to For the Win for Prompt 2, and have a graphic novel to read for Prompt 1. I need to start The Way of Kings for Bookopoly and Prompt 1, but I think I'll have to wait until I have library privileges in my new place before doing that, so it won't help this RAT.

I'll post what I do get done to help with the group goal, but I'm afraid it won't be much this time.

I will be finishing 2 Buddy Reads for Prompt 2. As I understand it, we can only count the pages read during the week, correct?

Hmmm. I just saw the note in message 1. Please clarify. Would all of the book count or just what I read during the RAT?

I'll first focus on finishing Oathbringer for a buddy read, prompt 2, bookopoly and Seriously Serial. I'm now on page 1120.

After that I'm not sure yet what I'll read. I'll make a plan later.

All I meant to say was it doesn't matter if you've started reading earlier or didn't actually finish the book during the week but any pages of that book read during the week count for RAT
