Me too! So far I've changed my pre planned list twice in four days! Lol! But I think the free quick stops might provide an excellent escape if you get stuck on one letter.
Oh, that's an idea, Susanne. I find I usually have at least four books for each letter... and then I still get to moody to read them. LOL!
Finally on the board! Yay! And it was a five-star read, too. Makes up for the previous "AA" being such an awful one. Updated Post #4 = 01/26.

There are recurring SS & MM characters in the Walt Longmire books by Craig Johnson. I'm up to book 6 and so far the SS character: Santiago Saizarbitoria is more prominent although I don't he first appeared until book 2. (he's one of Walt's deputies). The MM character doesn't make his first appearance until book 3: Kindness Goes Unpunished
I'm in a couple of group challenges that's kind of slowing me down on this.

I've only gotten my AA book in so far. I'm up to book 6 in the Walt Longmire series. I just figured I'd mention it in case that series was on someones to read list already.
I pretty much only have time for audiobooks right now. So I just checked out from the library:

Oh I just noticed that Buried in a Bog is also a CC book for the series name. I'll have to see if there's a wait list for book 2 or not. I'm 4th in line for 1 copy of the Carolyn Crane book so could take a few weeks for that one especially since we're talking digital download.
