Decided to enter my friend's OC-drawing contest. *shrug*It's within a small group of her friends and not a big DA group with lots of members (plus we're all students) so I might actually have a shot at winning.

The Cloudy one could've been better, but, it's still not bad.
Actually got asked if I wanted to go to college on a tribal scholarship. 0_0... I wanted to say yes, but, they make you take a DNA test for it now and they'd find out i'm not Chickasaw.
For the record i'm Chiricahua (chair-ah-caw-waw) Apache, and i'm actually enough of it to qualify for free insurance, scholarships and lots of other things, but due to the fact the Chiricahua were a rather violent people, the government doesn't recognize them or give them tribal benefits.The Chickasaw, Choctaw, Cherokee and Anisazi were are all recognized because during the cavalry days, they were easily displaced.

So I went out to feed the babes their supper last night, and as I was walking back up to the porch to the back door, I looked at the front yard and I saw a little black thing and I thought it was a bear. 0_0... Turns out it was just a Scotty. XD

Dan Haggerty died.I can't imagine that name means jack shit to anybody, but, he was Grizzly Adams on TV in the 70's.
I met him last year at a party for an animal charity event, got to sit and talk to him for hours.
He was so fucking great, you know? He was an animal lover. A REAL one. Not someone who lobbies for animals to be shoved and cages and poked at and blinded with camera flashes, someone who fought to protect them and keep them safe.
I can't believe he's gone. He was seventy-four, it's not like he hadn't gotten to live a great life, but it's still fucking heartbreaking.
I mean, yeah, I met him ONCE, but, fuck I loved him.
