Goodreads Serveice Announcement:I'm leaving fir the city in a few hours, and I'm not taking my laptop because I've yet to buy a case.
I'll be back tomorrow afternoon. I'll pop in and say hi when I get home, then i'll be here my normal hours Monday.

Okay. I am about to tell EVERYONE all about the show.Be seated.
First, I was NOT expecting them to make me surrender my wallet chain. Almost lost the fucking thing to the arena, but then the head security dude gave it to my dad. So phew.
Then I got to sit with this cool guy from the city who's also in a band (might be seeing him play on Halloween at this free thing-haven't secured a ride yet).
The Nothing More performance was really amazing, seriously wasn't expecting it to be sooooo good. I mean, yeah, they're awesome, but the stage performance was EPIC. The lead singer (don't remember his name) did this tribal drum beating thing, then the bassist played his guitar on this rack thingy shaped like a cross bow.
Breaking Benjamin were excellent, Ben seems like he's doing better after all that shit he went through.
They did this weird medley where thay played Smells Like Teen Spirit, Walk by Pantera (Dsllas band. Reppin') and the fucking DARTH VADAR THEME. XDDD
Ben, you DORK! XD Then they dedicated 'I will Not Bow' to the Galactic Empire. XDDD
Then Ben did a crowd walk. We didn't get close, but he was right above us. Waved and shit.

They dropped the curtain playing 'Cut the Cord' and then Brent did his 'this is your night! We're here for YOU!' bit. I know he does it in every city, but man, it's always gonna get me. :')
They played Fly From the Inside....I cried a little.
Shame me, I deserve it.
And I SANG THROUGH IT, God blast it.
The crowd sang most of 'Diamond Eyes', 'The Sound of Madness', 'Enemies', '45' and then Brent jumped up onto the riser in the center of the arena to sing 'Simple Man'.
They ended the show with 'How Did you Love?' and Brent did his 'for right now, there is no race but the human race, there is now religion, etc' speech.
Say what you want, he holds a crowd.
ShineDown's performance was easily the best part, but the cool thing was that this DJ from 100.5 the KATT (the rock station we get here) who calls herself Allison Chainz, like the band Alice in Chains, was there, and I got to talk to her, hug her, all that fun stuff.
Oh, and *cough cough* my picture is on the KATT's facebook page. ^-^
ABOUT PICSI was not permitted to bring my camera inside. My mom warned me they might confiscate it and I left it in our room.
The only pics I have are like two of me .-.
But I bet there's pics from the show on the bands' pages and I know there are some on the KATT's, so i'll find them and put them here. Kay?
And I need to put the pics I took on my computer, might have them up tomorrow.

It's not that much, but I just can't take it. I'm prideful over stupid shit like this, you know? I've known that college is my responsibility if I choose to go. I'm gonna try out for the volley ball team and hope for a free ride. TAMCC is a volley ball school, they do that for a few freshmen every year.
I've made a small arrangement with my father, he owes me as much towards college as he's given my brother since he turned eighteen. Which is roughly a thousand dollars. So that, combined with the money I have, add in what i'll make with minimum wage in Oklahoma...

The game is East Central University vs. Oklahoma State University, both of whom wear orange. So my orange Longhorns shirt will actually be a little hard to spot in the crowd. It'll be like an Easter egg in Grand Theft Auto. XD
