Day 22: How have you changed in the past two years?I'm taller? XD
Well, I guess my outlook on life changed a lot.
A little over two years ago I came out to my uncle (my soul IRL confidante in this world gone mad) and after that life fluctuated a lot.
I got back in touch with my brother, even though we're still not talking as much as we used to.
I stopped choking, so there's that.
I'm trying hard to be less cynical, but, I'm not sure how that's working out.
I mean, i dunno. The only people who could tell you how I've changed are my family and my friends, i guess.
But i can tell you i definitely feel different.
In some good ways, in some bad.

It's the least popular ship within the fandom, but, honestly, it's this close to being canon, I swear.

It's probably the most popular ship within the fandom, since all the super-fangirls I know love it.
Meh. It's cute, but they always make Murdoc out to be either a worse person than he is, or a sweetheart, which he most certainly is not.
#3 HarryXLash, The Dresden Files.
It's a weird concept.
It's kinda hard to explain, but in a nutshell, Lasciel, 'Lash', is a Fallen Angel. She was trapped inside of a coin like the rest of the Denerians, and she entered Harry's body when he touched her sigil coin.
She lives in his head, and she can manipulate the world around him to converse with him, and she can also talk to him in his dreams (his subconscious also likes getting freaky with her, so).
She needs him alive or she'll die too, so she protects him and helps him when she can.
I *think* HarryXlash (call it 'Hash' or 'Larry', by thunder, I will SMITE you) becomes canon at some point, but I'm not 100%.
Either way, I like it.

Any further elaboration will spoil a lot of the story, so i'll leave it at that.

In the comic book, I really didn't see it. I was only paying attention to the blood, the gore and the ass-kicking.
But in the movie, not only did I see it, I liked it.
A lot.
It's cute. It's fluffy.
The Red Mist character was completely different in the movie, but, I was actually okay with it.
The sniveling little bitch in the comic really pissed off, but in the movie he was semi-cool.
I also think the DaveXMindy ship is disgusting because, not only is it straight, (I'm kidding) Mindy was ten.
Dave was sixteen.
Just.
Gross.

When someone asks me what my favorite movie is, I say it's The Shawshank Redemption.
But it's actually The Fast and The Furious.
The Fast and the Furious is, at a glance, about racing and illegal product running.
I like it because I have a thing for Mazdas and Nissans.
However, I LOVE The Fast and The Furious because at its core, it's about friendship, family, love...
And what you'd sacrifice for those things.
Day 25: Someone who fascinates you and why.Matt Groening fascinates me.
You might know him as the creator of cartoons like The Simpsons and Futurama, both of which I like, but I love him for his amazing comic strip, Life in Hell.
Life in Hell is a slice of life about all the crap we go through as humans, how much we do to ensure our mediocre survival and what we're willing to do go gain leverage in a world that, quite honestly, we're destroying.
I think a good tag line for the comic would be 'Why try to avoid going to Hell? We're already here.'
I think Matt Groening is fascinating because he's made a career out of making people laugh.
Anyone who can do that fascinates me.
Day 26: If you had 1,000,000 $, how would you spend it?College. My favorite charities. A car. A house. A recording studio/work studio.
I'd live the rest of my life with whatever was left after that.

I used to choke. A lot.
It's a weird little high, kinda makes everything fuzzy and vivid at the same time.
I gave it up completely earlier this year because if I didn't, it was going to kill me.
My eyesight was doing weird things and I was having a hard time concentrating. I got paranoid and quit cold turkey.
I also drink.
Not a lot, in all honesty. And nothing but beer.
I used to drink a lot more, back when I'd down a whole beer and then choke myself, for the high and the buzz.
I quit drinking every day, now it's maybe one or two a week.
I get a little shaky sometimes and I know it's withdrawal, but I can usually get over it.
I also bite my nails.
Day 28: Something you miss.You've already pissed me off, so screw it.
I miss Samurai Jack.

Story time!
Wayyy back in the year 1999, my mother gave me the girly, lame-ass middle name I have, Danielle.
Why?
Because even FURTHER back, in the EARLY 90's, she had a friend named Danny. A BEST friend. A like-family friend.
Danny passed away, tragically and entirely too young, of AIDS in 1995.
So, I just had to stop and think about my namesake for a second. I never met him, but nonetheless it feels like he's with me somehow. And I wanted to share that feeling with my friends. <333

You should go skinny dipping or create a powerpoint summarizing your favorite book and why you love it or bake a dozen cupcakes and frost them pink and eat them all or binge watch netflix or kiss someone totally random or go to the grocery store and buy every carton of Butter Pecan ice cream available or go online shopping or spring clean the WHOLE house or fingerpaint or start a new fanfic or draw in a style that isn't yours or light a bonfire and make smores or invite everyone you know to a halloween party even though its August.
Or you could listen to Happy Song by bmth which you should do regardless because it's a great song.
