But my actual favorite toy was probably just a football or a soccer ball or something.
I played outside a lot, even before I had any friends.
Day 8: A moment when you felt most satisfied with your life.Well, I met Dan Haggerty (TV's Grizzly Adams!) back in March and he thought I was pretty funny, so, that was pretty cool.
But, the moment I was most satisfied with my life was actually at the beginning of the summer.
We'd gone to Rock Wall to see my grandparents, and on the way back we stopped to see my uncles (actually some of my mom's best friends, no actual relation) in Plano.
The five of us went out to this super cool bar/grill and, after I got up to go to the bathroom and came back, there was a shot glass full of some clear liquid sitting in front of my chair.
I looked up at my mom, who was giving the same look to my dad, who was giving the same look to Chris, who was giving the same look to Doug, who was just grinning at me.
I guess the look on my face said 'what the fuck?' because Doug looked at my mom and said 'Carrie, I'm so sorry for this'.
And I realized whatever it was in the glass was for ME.
Me, Chris and Doug all did the shot together.
Rum.
It was Bicardi-fucking-151 RUM!

We were all laughing and acting like idiots and, for the first time in my life, I felt like I was whole-heartedly, one-hundred-percent accepted.
