Writing two Gorillaz short fics to be added on AO3. Nothing I could pull together for TDF felt good but Liz and my's buddyread of Brief Cases starts today so maybe I'll get some inspriation :)
One Gorillaz fic is a weird re-introduction for Sheila. It's set before/leading into when Sheila and Murdoc dated the first time.
I got on dA yesterday and read my old three-chapter fanfic that introduced her. My narration as Murdoc is piss poor but I actually had a good handle on how Sheila sounded. And Russel and I are totally kindred spirits.

I do not remember writing most of that shit about my boyfriend but I *do* remember feeling a lot of it so update- we're still friends and we work together all the time. Pretty sure most people (except the loudmouth who started all of it, ha) know we were never really dating in the first place.
He does care about me, I care about him, and we managed to come out of that whole thing as friends. I am happy to report I have an ex-boyfriend :)

I started writing every day again in ohh about January? I've been watching lots of story-ehavy cartoons (RWBY, Trollhunters, Gargoyles) so it's been tripping the creative switch.
Funny story: I had to close the store on Tuesday so I walked, (no biggie, it's not far) and I got there with like twenty minutes to spare. Got there and chatted with my managers, cooled off and then I went upstairs to change out of the shirt I walked in into the blue polo I have to wear.Well. I got into the hallway and, coming out of the managers' office, was our DISTRICT DIRECTOR. Walked right into her.
And what, pre tell, had I worn on my trek?
A black shirt that, in red, reads "Hi I'm Chucky! Wanna play?"
The director asked me "Do you work here?"
I'm proud of myself because I actually had the two braincells to say
"Not right this second I don't."
Our store director laughed. And he can't stand me.

BookOutlet is like... Where it's AT. I got two tbr books for 1.29 and 3.29. Three books (bought a weird comic book done by an artist i like for i think 3.49) for less than 15$.
Another book thing: I'd really really REALLY like to read The Stand this year, since I've already read a long-awaited classic (Dante's Inerno, glowing review in the works) and my next goal for 2019 is kittensquisher.
My third goal is to read seven books in seven days, non-consecutively. Not using graphic novels because while not cheating it does knock the goal down a peg. Has to be beginning to end within one day's time.
*might* start this week when I get off at four on Wednesday.

'Princess' was actually the word she used. She does not say shit she does not mean. And she KNOWS I'm gay, and she said this to me.
