I've been tired as shit, but here's my dilemma: I can't fall asleep until about three-thirty/four AM on almost any given nigh, and then when i try to get a little sleep before my shift starts at either two or four, I have these horrible nightmares. Vivid ones, like when I take Dextromethorphan for my coughing. I haven't taken it in like about a week and a half, so..?

Vivid, constant nightmares are a symptom of... Like a lot of stuff I don't like thinking about. I had the same thing when I was thirteen/fourteen so i wonder if maybe hormone fluctuations have something to do with it.

i've been *slowly* educating myself on obscure animation companies/creators for the past few weeks. The other night I was up till three am reading about Ruby-Spears animation (Turbo Teen) and then the next night it was Rain Maker studios (ReBoot, Transformer: Beast Wars).
I was off work today and I got to reading about Ralph Bakshi.

I got pulled into a TVtropes page about Will Vinton, too. He was never *famous* but he did almost all the stop-motion (animation with figures and camera takes) that Ranken-Bass didn't do in the 70's and 80's. He did a Halloween special anthology based on a book, The Adventures Of Mark Twain, that's infamous because it was for kids and it was HORRIFYING (this was before Tim Burton).

Been having a dream over and over again lately. Not super surprising, I have vivid dreams and sometimes they repeat.
I've had this one three times so far.
Me. My 'boyfriend'. In a relationship. Not our fake one. A real one.
Living together. Eating together.
Sleeping together.
As uncomfortable as it makes me to admit, I had a very convincing dream in which me and my fake boyfriend had sex.
And then, today, I got to work basically my whole shift with him.

This is hurting my brain AND my heart.
I talked to my manager (my friend who helped me get the job) about some of it tonight (just told her the dream part, and only mentioned the relationship part) and she was like, "you know what sucks? He'd treat you like a goddess."
And she's right. Turns out Boyfriend isn't as ace as I thought. I dunno if he's like, demi or something but even my manager said he 'cares about me'.
I'm not used to people giving a shit about how I feel, but he actually does.
