Clone High, Tiger And Bunny, Last Man.
They confirmed JoJo's part 4, Diamond Is Unbreakable is coming to Toonami next month. I did in fact burst into tears, just a little.
Not gonna like, I fucking HATE the character designs for Diamond. They're a hundred times worse than Phantom Blood. But I like the idea of Jotaro being the Joseph of the group. That sounds really interesting.
The next arc in the JoJo manga after Diamond has Jotaro's daughter as the MC, they'll most definitely animate that one at some point. And eventually, at some point, the manga retcons it back into the old West with alternative versions of Joseph (Johnny Joestar) and Caesar (Gyro Zeppoli) using hamon differently than in Battle Tendency.
... I know a whole fucking lot about a manga I've never actually read even once.
Maybe I should read it. I could at least catch up to part 5 (which they've confirmed to premiere in Japan I think either next winter or spring) is dubbed. Toonami loves the franchise so it'll probably air in the US PDQ.
They were up to Bohemian Rhapsody in the Cowboy Bebop re-air last week. One of my absolute favorite episodes because I watched it (memorably) at six and then again at sixteen. It always freaked me out but made me weirdly happy when i ran into an ep I had watched on old school Toonami when I watched it beginning to end back in 2016. Mushroom Samba and Toys In The Attic are the same.
They're up to My Funny Valentine this week. That one hurts. Beginning of the end.
They're showing Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' On Heaven's Door in theaters to celebrate twenty years of Bebop. Would be boss to see it on the big screen since I've never actually watched it but I don't think i can make it to one.I'll try to remember to actually watch the movie this year sometime, though.
Well, turns out my work friend i actually get along with decently is going to college, too :/I know that sounds rude. I'm happy for her because she's really smart and she should do something with that, I'm just gonna miss her.
EMT training starts too soon for me to be able to pay for and go to all the HiSet exams to get my diploma first so, before anyone starts calling me out, I'm not doing it this fall.
Plus having a part-time job means I have no clue what my schedule looks like more than a week in advance so i'd have to put in for all the days of EMT school and I'd need to do it every single week and I'd have to ask them to accommodate me and they'd realize i wasn't worth the trouble and fire me.
^ that sounded stupid. They've been hiring high school kids who went to school five days a week all the time for years. My situation would be totally doable. My managers are (three out of four, anyway) all really good about giving you days off you need.
I haven't been feeling worth much lately, i guess. Ha.
Anyway. EMT school is a lot of money and I only could've paid for half of it now. I'm gonna use the money i have now to go to drivers' ed with my cousin next month so i can get my license, which will make the HiSet exams easier because I'll be able to go to them wherever i can fit them in. Goal right now is license by October, diploma by Christmas. We'll just have to see.

I'm asking for a ton of days off in September. 1st and 2nd to go to Canton, 20th to go to a concert with Angie's daughter and the 26th and 27th to go to a concert with my dad in Dallas.
August is just the 16th for Slayer and i was just invited to a party on the 8th so i need to ask for that immediately so i don't have to trade shifts.
Angie's daughter (also named Lauren, but likes to be called Lo) is thirteen years old and the first time we met, she referred to me as her best friend. I only cried for twenty minutes.

Firstly- okay, being a grammarical dodo has nothing to do with the capitalist system. Secondly- in the same IG story not a week before, this obviously not poor individual was posting a haul of figures, prints, etc from a vacation in Japan. Pretty sure the artist lives in North America soooo kind of a pricey getaway, no?
Thirdly- if you hate capitalism, go to communist state where they'll decide where you live, work and are educated. You will not be allowed to be an artist. You will never be allowed to be creative as a form of income at all.

Cree Summer has an amazing speaking voice, but i didn't realize what a pretty singing voice she has. Foxxy sang earlier in the series and it was meh, you could tell it was edited. But she sings No Easy Way Out in season 3 and it's totally just her singing and it's... Wow. Fucking PIPES.
Remember when i wanted her to play Magica De Spell? I'm cool with the DuckTales reboot not using her but I stand by the fact she'd have been perfect.

Done with Drawn Together, BoJack season 4 and (holy frakking FRAK) Castlevania 1. Tonight I shall finish FLCL Progressive and get at least two more eps into The Ancient Magus Bride.
PSA- i didn't have Internet for five days. I'd like to say I got a lot of reading/writing/drawing done, but I was working for most of it. We got it back on Sunday and since then, yeah, I basically just watched animated stuff. I don't work again till Friday so I'm working on some things.
I'm also doing a 25 in five readathon from the 9th to the 13th, which means twenty-five hours of reading time in five calendar days. I'm gonna be working some of it but I'm determined. The goals are:
-finish Frankenstiein.
-TG vol. 14, finishing the series.
-Scott Pilgrim vols 4 thought 6, finishing the series.
If i dent American Gods big time, that's just bonus.
^ those goals factor in me finishing Scourged before Thursday, which I plan to do. Finishing the Dresden Files slumped me bad too, remember? I think it's because i don't want to be DONE with Iron Druid. Same thing with Cowboy Bebop and every season of BoJack Horseman so far.
Yay glad to see you Z! and yeah, last book of Codex Alera is taking me FOREVER.... It's good. But I don't want to say goodbye.

Semi-related though i might be going to counseling at the free clinic. Everyone seems to think it's a good idea based on some... Problems I had after my grandfather died.
For real though, I feel better than I have in a while, my mom can finally work her normal hours again thanks to our internet being back, all good things. *sigh* Love you guys, sorry to scare.
