I have sunday OFF the for the first time in WEEKS which means i can finally go see Incredibles 2 tomorrow night!
Also means the review-writing party will be easy to do.
I'm reading the final volume of TG tonight. Unsure how to feel about it. It's been kind of a constant in my life.
*there's a sequel manga, an anime and light novels*BUT this is the main series so it just feels weird i dunno.

It's famous in Texas but I'm realizing y'all probably don't know what it is..? Anyway people rent booths or tent spaces or empty storefronts and they sell vintage stuff, handmade stuff, furniture, there's food, (it's a dry county though so it's alcohol-free) etc and it goes for like three days. We were supposed to go to a family reunion in North Texas but they postponed it, but me and my dad already had the time off (i had to schedule mine) so since we can't afford to go to the Davis Mountains like we planned, we're doing Canton instead.

Cards I've acquired in the last six months: voter ID, discount card for my store and most recently, a debit card.My little wallet has ONE slot for all of these. I've had the same one for like four years and i haven't used its chain in like two.
I need a new one.
I need one that's the same size as this one so it'll still fit in my pocket, but with more card slots and a closed fold so i can throw my change in it when i don't have my change bag.

I started A Walk In The Woods today since it's about American nature and tomorrow's Independence Day an all.
Two stories to go in Besieged. So I'll finish it tonight, start Scourged, maybe read the first few chapters of A Walk In The Woods and *maybe* read TG vol. 14.
I want to do a series review for TG overall but because it took me so long to read the whole thing it'll be kind of a micro. Quotes, art specs, that'll be all.

Honestly I'd sell my left hand for ONE night of getting to talk to actual animation lovers, not just geeks who watch Steven Universe and act like they have any fucking clue what board-driven means.Also the ship war is a hundred times worse when you animate the material. I can't get through an OK K.O conversation without someone asking if i ship Rad and Enid.
Just for the record i'd be totally content if no animated show ever had 'ships' ever again. I fucking hate the arguing.
I mean look at Richie from Static Shock. Gay, no love interests.Amethyst from Steven Universe. OBVIOUSLY gay, no love interests (i mean, the last time i watched. I haven't seen a single new episode in... Lars was still just a jerk, that's how long it's been). So nobody yell at me for implying taking away the love interest would make it impossible to show non-straight characters. I don't think that at all. I'm just slightly offended that some of these writers *cough* Rebecca Sugar *cough* think that, in order to show show diversity in orientation, they HAVE to have love interests. And too many things show you as being cold if you don't have romantic love in your life.
It's funny that the more these writers try to show my orientation specifically, the more ostracized i feel :/
