I'd also really REALLY like to continue the Drawn Together rewatch and start the Metalocalypse rewatch tonight but we'll see.

Technically Drawn Together isn't a rewatch because I only saw it a few times as a kid but I don't know what else to call it. Same as when I watched Cowboy Bebop in 2016. I'd seen almost every episode, just never beginning to end.
And as for Metalocalypse, I've seen every episode at least once and am truly just rewatching it. Should I do a Boondocks rewatch after this? Haven't seen those season 1 eps in a long time.
This is still a pet project i want to keep as close as possible. But i am very excited for this outcome.

Went to the library and rechecked The Hazel Wood and got Coronado: Stories by Dennis Lehane. I really liked Mystic River so i wanna read more by Lehane.
Eight books behind, nine days left in the month.With short novels/graphic novels, I might pull this off.
Not even gonna TRY to read How Long Has This Been Going On this month. I'll read some but i definitely won't finish it this month.

It's a stereo in this pretty wooden case and I was just excited about having a stereo that actually worked because mine died a while back, but when i got in in my room, i noticed the cord was wound up into a compartment in the top and when i opened the lid, i saw there was a fucking TURN TABLE inside.
so, though I do not plan on becoming a vinyl collector because ex-fucking-spensive, I do want to have a few that my grandfather would've approved of. He loved all music, literally ALL, so...Johnny Cash, The Rolling Stones, The Clash, John Williams, (the Star Wars composer, Grandpa loved classical music <3) Jimi Hendrix, these are all ones i'll be looking out for. Not gonna buy any online 'cause i swear they're even more expensive on the net. Guess i'll look for a music store in the city.
not a whole lot of garage sales in a small town and the selection at Salvation Army in Ada is garbage.

As for library sales, ours purged all their older stuff when they got a big grant a few years ago. Pretty sure all of theirs (was mostly books on record/classical music anyway) went to the Salvation Army too.
I know where there's one record store in Tulsa, but i'm hoping to find one closer.

Writing was fun. I still do it. I just never finish any goddamn thing and i apologize for that. My little series, IICR, has been expanding this whole time. I promise. I wanna keep it going. Edit it. Tone the romance down. Make it better. i'll keep the older chapters as they are on here, edit them somewhere else. Just so i can see the old ones for refs.

The Hazel Wood is fucking amazing. Almost done, finishing tonight, fucking READ. IT.This book boy has a stupid name like Ellery Finch (though in context it's pretty fucking hilarious) and he is my FAVORITE BOOK BOY EVERRRR.
Halfway through story two in Besieged, Goddess At The Crossroads. Gonna be finishing that and reading story three too. Planning on some RWBY tonight.

Part of me doesn't think the Hazel Wood really needs to be a series because it was so good on its own, but the other part of me is screaming "MORE ALICE PLEASE."

if anyone was curious about how i do that: While i read, i either write down a page number with a quote i liked on a piece of scrap paper or in Memo on my phone. Sometimes i'm better about it, sometimes i skip it completely. Lately i've been really lazy with it hence recent review lag :/

Marked The Hazel Wood as finished because it was giving me hives. Review after work tomorrow. Focusing on Besieged. Hoping finish it/start Scourged by Sunday.
Ordered Scott Pilgrim vols 5 and 6 (i still need to read 4...) and the last three vols of Tokyo Ghoul. Gonna be finishing Iron Druid, Scott Pilgrim and Tokyo Ghoul all in one summer. The feels might actually kill me.

...sometimes I forget other states have those restrictions. I'm in Oregon and it's totally legal here. Like employers or landlords can still get their knickers in a bunch about it but if it's medical I don't think it's an issue. I actually know one of the main dudes who pushed to make it legal here. Saw him the other day at Hempfest. (Sorry if you don't want comments on your journal. I dont follow this one and I'm bored...)

It was really looking like it would fail in OK but amazingly it passed. It's a really thought-out bill that's supposed to get a special session opened and take effect thirty days after being passed.

Got my nails done for the first time yesterday with Angie and her daughter. It was weird but also fun. (view spoiler) but the nail salon was fun.
I close the store tonight so that means i get to work the rush and the dead hour -_- Off tomorrow. Hoping to read as much as i did last Saturday. Fingers crossed anyway. Having RTCS piled up gives me such a nagging feeling about reading other books. I need to try to work on that, too...
