I like how the show has relationships play out super quietly. The romance is there for anyone who wants it but you can totally ignore it.
I slept late because i didn't work today and all i did besides my cleaning was watch ep 18 f The Ancient Magus Bride. The Yule Tide arc was SO good (my profile pic is Alice from The Ancient Magus Bride, by the way, from ep 17). I'm liking the show a lot. Sad I'm almost done.
Oh i did finish one of my books though. I'll finish the other one/start a library book tonight before i watch RWBY.
I like how the The Ancient Magus Bride is a quiet, magic-centered anime set in the English countryside until BAM! Blood! Gore! Terror!
I need a new action anime to watch. I also want to keep watching modern anime. So... Devilman: Crybaby?

I feel so bad for D. He was gonna go to college before all this shit happened (not my shit to talk about obviously). It'd be insensitive to say we're in the same boat because obviously I'm just broke and he has to like pay his family's bills and stuff.
just thinking about it because he said he might be quitting the store to get a better paying full time job. His mom doesn't want him to and he's all conflicted and shit.
I complain a lot. i should just be grateful there's no one depending on me like that. my screwups only effect me.

In the post I said the money was for school expenses and stepping up my art supplies. Nowhere did i say I was starving or needed funds for an operation. If paying eight dollars to go to motherfucking CineMark or spending twelve bucks on a comic book ONCE makes me 'over-privileged' and 'stuck-up', fine. Where do i sign up for the sorority?

Finished Spider-Man: The Darkest Hours :D my 3rd Jim Butcher book this year so far. Brief Cases just came out, AND I'm waiting to order Academ's Fury. ...I swear to God I'm not obsessed with him.
I will try to do a review before I leave for work and one when i get home at nine. I don't go to work till four the next two days which means, as long as I don't sleep too late, plenty of reading time.
I'll do The Good, The Bad And The Undead review today and Staked tonight. That means all I'll have left is a micro for Zits: Shredded and...And I'll be caught up..?

Actually never mind, I am obsessed with Jim Butcher. As much as I am Stephen King or Sabaa Tahir or Kevin Hearne or Madeleine Roux. We as readers decided that was okay, right?
Between the actual novels, the first short story collection and two comics, that's EIGHTEEN Dresden Files books, plus Furies Of Calderon PLUS Spider-Man: The Darkest Hours, that makes twenty books by Jim Butcher I've read.Oh shit wait a minute.

The research I've tried to do on Thrud, his daughter in mythology I based Gwen off of, has been really spotty. In some variations she was a Valkyrie, in some she wasn't. In some she was a fertility goddess like her mother Sif, and in some variations she wasn't.Also there was a playable Thrud character in some fantasy videogame a few years ago so that fucks up my search.
Forty pages into The Shape Of Water and I wanna read more but I need to read How Long Has This Been Going On?. But i get to work with Angie so that's cool. So far i like working with her, K and D. A's leaving for college so it doesn't matter if i like working with him or not. And the older cashiers, AD, and CJ don't work as late as the younger ones do.

Halfway into The Shape Of Water and, not gonna lie, kinda freaking out a little bit.
I work almost the same hours tomorrow as i did today, i just start about fifteen minutes later. Probably gonna have to walk to work but eh, i have to go to Love's anyway.
Walking to work/not sitting down for more than fifteen minutes/sometimes also walking home, no wonder i've lost weight.
I only have four measly fucking shifts this week. Under 30 hours. My paycheck won't be shit.
