At least it was described to me as 'Catholic vampire metal' and it's definitely semi-religious. Dunno if it's anything specifically Catholic.

Watched the Spear of Selene ep of DuckTales. I need to draw more Webby and Dewey.
I want to watch more and i will later, but this is my only day off till Saturday. Have a wedding that day, and i need to bleach the red out of my hair before then.
I'll be doing a new color this summer, but it'll just be bleached in places for a little while. Loved the red but it's time for a change.

The EMT program at the center is a year long and fucking expensive. I'll get a teeny tiny discount because i live in the district and that's all.*sigh*
But I've decided i need to do it.
I'll be late to college but I'll have a job basically in hand when i do go.
Places like Corpus always need EMTs.
Think you need to be a paramedic (which is not out of the question) to get a job as an ER technician, which is what my dad did, but as an EMT you can work for private ambulance companies that bus patients to and from hospitals and clinics.If you're a paramedic you can be a real first responder and show up to 911 calls, accidents, that sort of thing.
If i'm gonna go, though, that means absolutely no fuckups at the job, because i need the money. I haven't royally fucked up but I don't want to get sacked in favor of someone with a batter record, you know?
I mean the only reason they hired me is because they had to fire a lousy cashier. I've been assured I'm at least better than him. Still though.

Cartoon nerd comment on the DuckTales reboot: the way the scenes are layared with comic dots as a throwback to the Disney comics from the 30's is so... Pleasing.
I heard Magica DeSpell was going to be in DuckTales at some point too.Her shadow was in those two episodes from last year, but it was so vague.
Her voice actress, June Foray, died last summer. Since Scrooge's original VO died in 2016 and David Tennant is so committed to making the show a living memorial to him, I'm sure that when Magica does show up, she'll have some badass VO like Grey DeLisle or someone like that.
Personally I'd cast Cree Summer but that's just because her voice is quite possibly my favorite in the industry. Looking at it, it would be a huge disconnect from how Magica DeSpell sounded originally.Just please don't let it Tara Strong.

Working with couples sucks.It was just me, K and C at the store yesterday and it was torture. All they do is giggle and shove each other and find a way to leave me as the only cashier by one of them going to 'help' the other one with a ridiculously easy task. K, the girl, is usually on a register and her boyfriend has his own till because you need to have one if you're on the front end, but she's the better cashier. He usually stocks and cleans and sacks, etc. But if he's across the store mopping, guess where K is? Walking around behind him.
She's a good cashier, she just can't work the same shift as her boyfriend. And he's fine as a checker in his own. But he can't work a shift with her.
