I don't get how there are actual grown-ass adults who feel like this shit is right. Be a goddamn grownup. I had that shit kicked out of me by the time I was sixteen because I grew the fuck up. This is why you give kids responsibilities.

it should be. most schools won’t accept you if you haven’t filed FAFSA, even if you get nothing from the government you still have to file it. i did mine on new year’s eve bc the deadline was the first of january. i can double check the website if you want, it’ll let me review my file so i can tell you what you’ll need?

I bought mine from a mechanic who was retiring and closing his shop, it was his personal car. In a big city like yours, definitely look at the paper/online listings. Don't be shy about used lots, either. They can be goldmines.

I am still working on Somebody Has To (cast ensemble of The Dresden Files meets Jim Butcher) but i got distracted, as usual. I'm really hoping to get back to posting one-shots this spring/summer. Really. More fanfic, more of my own stuff. I have my own UF project I'm really trying to get serious about, too. More on that later.

On a side note, I forgot how fucking EXPENSIVE new manga is, it's been that long since I've bought it. Next manga i buy is Tokyo Ghoul and it's gonna be the last three volumes so i can feel better about continuing the 20-plus series I fell in love with; AOT and Assassination Classroom.

your age doesn't invalidate your opinion, but at the same time you should listen to someone who's older when they're trying to give you advice because they nine times out of ten just don't want you making the same mistake they did.
My advice for not-eighteeners:-Wash your damn face.
-Stop saying "Gahd!" like Napoleon fucking Dynamite whenever ANYONE asks you to do ANYTHING (also that movie is the pinnacle of comedy and if you don't think it is you're watching it wrong).
-The zit is tiny. And if it's not, it doesn't matter. Teenagers are greasy. Not always at the same intervals but they ALL are. See 1.
-Sleep.
-Stop blaming every single thing that's 'wrong with you' on your parents, because after age, I dunno, ten, you're almost wholly responsible for how you act. How you were raised definitely effects you, but you're your own person at a certain point. Accept it. If you're a jerk, while your parents may have had a hand in it, YOU'RE the jerk. Not mommy or daddy.
-Shut the fuck up at movies. Shut up. SHUT. UP.
-Disagree like you have a brain.
-It isn't the end of the fucking world if you're not starving and have clothes to wear.
