Chris Cornell in anything is on my bucket list.Oh my GOD i need to go to this >.>
I don't want to go with my mom though and i'd have to.Even if i wasn't a failure at everything including driving and getting a license they'd never let me go to Deep Ellum by myself.
Which, you know, fair. I'd want someone else with me.
Plus my mom loves Soundgarden so...I guess it ups my chance at going, but how bad do i really want to go to Bomb Factory with my mother...
I dunno maybe i should save the ticket money for Volbeat on the 10th.
Last final, history, is today. I'll be reading/essaying Death Of Salesman tomorrow. Spanish project (which wasn't the book thing, like I thought. It's just answering quiz questions in coherent Spanish) is due Thursday. Can't remember if Friday is the last day or if I still have course work on Monday and Tuesday.
I just know i'm getting my summer assignments for AP english and sociology on wednesday.
Killing the hour i have until the test.Gonna try to finish Bloodline.

Gotta finish up my final English project tonight.But I'm gonna begin the Riverdale binge tomorrow night.
Then the Kill la Kill binge Saturday/Saturday night.
Goal is to be through with them both by Monday.
Oh and some reading goals (because I guess I enjoy disappointing myself?):-Bullshit my way through Death of a Salesman.
-Have Tricked finished by Friday.
-Start Firefight on Friday.
-Read Seraph of The End vol. 1, Tokyo Ghoul vo. 7 and Attack On Titan vol. 2 this weekend.
No Memorial day weekend goals 'cause I dunno but I might be in Dallas part of the time IF we go to this concert at the Bomb Factory.

Chris Cornell was one of my biggest influences, even more than ShineDown, I'll admit.
When I was so lost and so hung up on my addictions, Soundgarden, Temple of The Dog and, most importantly, Audioslave, were there for me.
I heard 'I Am The Highway' for the first time when I was eight.
I wanted to be a musician from there on out.
I used music to overcome the hardest fight of my life and Chris Cornell taught me that it COULD be won.
... But he unfortunately lost his own fight last night in Detroit.
Chris Cornell died of, they think, suicide, last night after what is now Soundgarden's final performance.
Last night at about twelve, when he probably died, I was listening to I Am The Highway.
I finished Death of a Salesman but not gonna review till tomorrow, when I have time.
I have too much shit to deal with today to be this fucking sad.
So... I'm calling a friend of my mom's that plays killer guitar and me and him are gonna do a Chris Cornell tribute and I'm not taking no for an answer :)

It's really like darkly funny that a lot of people (like me) credit Audioslave/Soundgarden with helping them through their depression, when Chris got done in by his.

Anyway, I've talked to my mom's friend already and he's on for the tribute.

Passed that last final and handed in my last project for English. Getting the grades back on Spanish and English on monday...But i officially have ZERO coursework left as a high school junior.
This year was so hard. Struggled a lot but i'm better for it.
