One good thing about my 'English course' is i sometimes get to read modern books.
Got assigned A Thousand Splendid Suns for spring break.
I'm already on page 94.
I talked about this before but I realized I can't go so i'm gonna talk about it again.Sweeny Todd: Demon Barber is playing at the theater in Tulsa over the summer. I love that movie and I've wanted to see the stage show for YEARS.
But it's expensive and I can't go.
That's a dumb thing to be disappointed about because it's not like I had tickets or anything but still :/

Soooo excited to go to Dallas for spring break. I always get so excited to go 'home' every year.I actually consider our old place in the country HOME in Texas, but i have so many people in and around Dallas and i've been there so many times, it feels like home.
Last year SUCKED because we had to go get my birth certificate in the hall of records or whatever it's called and UGH it was terrible.The place itself was big and cool and literally the biggest building i've ever been in and AWESOME but. You know. Homer and Marge >.>
Austin was later that same week and it was great, mostly because i got to stay in a different hotel room than my parents for the first time ever and i got to hang out with people i didn't know and smoke pot in a parking garage.
Rephrase: they were my mom's friends and i DID know them, just not really well. They weren't strangers. I ain't stupid.
Boy I like the way I'm dressed today. :DBlack skinny jeans/grey tank top/black pleather combat boots.
Simple and cheap and I look damn good ;)

Me and my dad took my car to the lake and then to the grocery store earlier. I scheduled as much driving time as possible over spring break, and then a week or two after we get home (it might be in April) i have driving school in Ada!!!

Added my spring break writing goals to my to do list.The one-shots are the sequel to Rock Bottom, Power Chord, a heavily music-inspired drama trilogy with slight romance, and a new Dresden x Marcone one-shot :)

Does sleeping past noon give you weird, VIVID dreams? I stopped taking the cough medicine that was giving me vivid nightmares weeks ago, but i had the weirdest dream afer i woke up and went back to sleep this morning.
I realized I have a MASSIVE crush on Izzy from the Pizza Party podcast o.o
I NEVER EVER thought about her like that before.
But in the dream me and her and someone else from the podcast (i think it was Pan? He looked like Dib from Invader Zim) were watching some weird cartoon compilation thing, and when it was over Pan left, and i just sat down on the ottoman in front of Izzy and kissed her.
I've been to her twitter so i know what she looks like and...

Anyway Kong: Skull Island was good. We seem to have reached a point in action movies where two characters don't have to be in love to be compelling. I can really appreciate that.It was a good Kong origin, too. It's directed by the Godzilla 2014 guy, and i liked that just fine. Skull Island was better, though.
Toonami's gonna start airing Tokyo Ghoul this Saturday -_-I keep seeing the trailer and thinking 'well, i could just watch the first ep, right?' but, NO. Manga. I am reading the manga. I can watch the anime online when i'm done.
... The VAs for Kaneki, Touka, Mato, Rize, Nishiki and Uta are AWESOME though.

Uh, probably not RIGHT when it comes out because new books are expensive and my library doesn't have requests, but depending on when I can get a copy, you bet I'd buddy-read it with you :)

Kay so me, my phone and Cold Days all smell like coconut tanning oil XDIt's March 23rd and already 75-ish outside and the pilgrimage is this weekend, so I figured why not?
On the bright side, I got to sit down and read, finally.
I can still try to finish Cold Days before we leave, but it might be while on the trip.
Another spring break TDL item to check off: I vacuumed out my car last night. Ever gotten your hair caught in car wash vacuum? Surprisingly not fun.
Also my hair dye came so I can re-dye my streak tomorrow morning (and tan a bit more).
Ooooh Shadowhouse Fall has a cover :)But it still doesn't come out till September.
