(yes, I promise)Well, to start with, are you watching one of their videos, or a fan-made video with an album cover?
Second, people do their voices and play their instruments, then they run animation over it. They do it on a big projector at they're concerts; it's supposed to be badass.
Third, there are bios and details about everyone in the band on the Wikia page, and there are TONS of fan sites, so that's how I learned all that stuff about Murdoc.
Also, Murdoc's not the singer, he plays bass. 2-D sings.

On some levels. He's an insufferable bastard sometimes, what with ragging on 2-D all the time and all the womanizing and calling Russel 'Lards'. I kinda hate him then.
But then there's the part of him that, though undeniably a drunken jerk, is intelligent and tortured.
I mean, he IS the brains of the band. He must have a heart if he was willing to more or less RAISE Noodle, even when he couldn't understand her.
Plus, his dad and his brother were real bastards to him when he was a kid, so I understand why he's so defensive.
