My dad's the same. XD To be honest, having my headphones in too long hurt my ears.
So i was encouraged to download several educational apps (Quizlet, which i use on my laptop all the time, Chegg digital textbooks and one that's GED prep and quizzes) and study with them every night if i 'want this to work'. *sigh*Also i just got my reading list for this year... Kill me, please...

So I might get to sit down and talk to a couple of real social workers! :D... Boy, out of context that would sound like something REALLY awful happened.
Anyway, a friend of my mom's is a social worker (private license for freelance) and a family friend is, too (for the state).
I'm trying to organize meetings with each of them.
Also have a 'social workers' reading list' put together, gonna see if the library has any of them. I'm gonna get up early and run down there tomorrow.
Excited to finally be visualizing a real career for myself.

Might buy Library of Souls tomorrow so I can read it before the Miss Peregrine's movie comes out.I know it's the third book and this movie is based on the first one, but when have they ever failed to spoil the next book somehow with these things?
So OKC ComicCon is September 4th through the 6th...Kinda wanna see if I can score tickets.
I'm pretty much broke right now, so that wouldn't be much fun, and I don't really have any fan-wear to show up in (limited to a Punisher t-shirt, a Superman baseball shirt and a Krueger/Vorhees 2016 t-shirt) and I would only be able to go on Sunday, when the panels are mostly cleared out.
