Character: Sheila Pot (OC).
It's supposed to read like a Rolling Stone article.

Sheila's band, the Round-a-Bouts, got together in 1999, when she was twelve.
The band has, of course, undergone many changes since then. Their backing vocalist/rhythm guitarist, Todd Fletcher, was absent in phases 2 and 3. And while she, bassist Rick Hammond and drummer Vana Marsden wrote, produced and released their first album, Sheila's brother Stuart's band, Gorillaz, rose to giant stardom.
In the Gorillaz biography, Rise of the Ogre, Sheila was outed as Stuart Pot's sister, much to her dismay.
The band booked many gigs, and played several of them, but when the shows were through, the only thing anyone wanted to know was if Stuart was available.
The Round-a-Bouts broke up briefly in 2003, while Rick moved to the United States and Vana married and had a child, and Sheila helped produce Gorillaz' second studio album, Demon Days.
Following Gorillaz guitarist Noodle's (who later turned up alive) tragic 'death', Sheila, devastated, reconnected with her band and together they tried to move on.
When Gorillaz bassist Murdoc Niccals kidnapped Stuart, (better known as '2-D') Sheila briefly disappeared herself, bent on finding him.
She did, on the waste-laden barge known as Plastic Beach, and there she was injured in a fight with Murdoc's psychotic cyborg, made with Noodle's DNA.
In Plastic Beach's radioactive, shark-infested water, Sheila lost her foot.
When Noodle reappeared, saving Sheila's life in the process, Sheila attempted to bring her brother back to England, but he refused.

In the years that followed, after physical therapy and four failed solo career attempts, (and one legal name change to Shewolf Kettle- now changed back to Sheila Pot) Sheila once again reformed the Round-a-Bouts, this time with Todd Fletcher, short one eye, back in the mix.

("I tried to make a career for myself.
Sheila tells us from her West Bromwich apartment.
"I did. Me and me bandmates all did. But all we could ever be was '2-D's sister's band'. I hate that, but what can I do about it?")

Sheila, a fondly remembered figure from the mid-2000's East Bend punk scene, has unintentionally faded into obscurity.
Forever darkened by her brother's shadow, Sheila tells us she will never stop making music, but she fears her time to 'become her own artist' may be running out.

I've read sixty pages in a day. So far. And it's not even four yet.
I have two days to finish this book. My paper is due on the 23rd, then I'm on the road to junior city on the 24th.
Goal for today is page 203, ninety-nine pages from where I am, and eighty-seven pages from the end.
