♠Zombie Slaying and Alien Hunting 101♠

@Mei- Mei!!!!! <3 Missed you, girl.
@Low- Thanks. :) It'll only be a few weeks from now.
Missed you too <3 yeah, good luck with moving o.o :D

I'm baa-aack!
XD
Miss me?
All the moving drama's not over yet, we're probably getting into the house (you know, after remodeling for almost four years) in June or July.
By the way, we're not moving far, actually just across town.
We've lived on Rent House Row since we moved to Oklahoma and it sucks here.
The rent's too high, all the people are shanks and the houses are crappy.
But, whatever. We're outta here soon.
Anyway, here I am!
Missed you guys so much. :,)

We went to the Oklahoma City museum of art last Sunday and saw this awesome exhibit on faking famous artworks.
It was so. Friggin'. COOL.
And we're going back next week to see an Andy Warhol exhibit and an abstract exhibit.
I also went to this awesome little book/comic shop in a burb off the city and scored the following:

and

I was hunting for Richard Laymon, but scoring a paperback copy of Necroscope for only three bucks is still a wicked awesome find.
And Shutter was ten bucks, but it's a brand new copy.
yeah. spring cleaning is always fun xDDd

It's easier than moving furniture, though. Had to do a lot of that, too. >_<
Also got in trouble for mouthing off.
Again.
Ahghg i know how that feels, i'm sorry >_______<
Smartasses are my favorite people XD

Four-thousand freakin' watchlist messages!
Not again.
*facepalm*
Should've been handling those when I had free time last week.

Sent her a note.
Still nothing.
I'm sending her another one if I don't hear back by tomorrow.

I got The Girl Who Loved Tom Gorgon out from the library last Friday, but I was still living in The Scorch, (if you're my friend I can almost bet you got that) so I've only read chapter one.
I never did find a music book, but I'm still looking.
the only bios I could find fomr the right year were David Bowie's (yes, I DID listen to Ziggy Stardust. He's OKAY, but I still think he's overrated) who I don't like, and Marilyn Manson's, which I read last year.
And I refuse to read anything about Kurt Cobain.
There's too much controversy, too much hype.
I'd prefer a fiction about music, like High Fidelity or A Visit from the Goon Squad, but they're not from 1999.
Ughh.

Nope.
I've tried and failed at guitar five or six times since I was eight.
Piano was not only a miserable failure, but also a shouting match with my mother.
"Just try a little harder. You'll get it."
"If you'd just apply yourself..."
"You're really not playing to you potential here."
I like guitar, I want to try and learn again this year, but I don't have enough saved for lessons and my parents sure as hell aren't going to pay for it.
Eh, whatever.
A mic is instrument enough for me.
That sucks >.< I tried piano for, like, two years. Started when I was five xD luckily, my mom wasn't upset when I quit. The teacher I had was so mean .-.

She wasn't too pissed when I quit, though. I don't think she liked teaching me very much.
I do want to try guitar again.
Ah, yikes >.< good luck if you ever end up trying the guitar again! Looking back, I wish I'd kept going with my piano lessons, but the teacher was insane ._.

Dark Before the Dawn, The Pale Emperor and hopefully ShineDown5, good year to be a rock fan. <3

I got those four-thousand watchlist messages dealt with.
Seriously, I gotta remember those things, my right index finger (mouse finger) is seriously sore. XD

(for lit class)

(for lit class also

(one of my resolutions was to read a whole series in 2015)

(because Harry Dresden has consumed my every waking hour and Grave Peril nearly killed me)

#1 Amethyst from Steven Universe.
Kinda my gem crush. #^_^#
#2 Eileen from Regular Show.
Because she's adorkable and I've recently discovered I really like that.
#3 Brenda from The Scorch Trials.
I started thinking about her a lot right after I finished the book.
#4 Bianca from the Dresden Files.
Back off, Harry. The bad-ass vamp lady is mine.
#5 Mindy from Kick-Ass.
You know, the older version of her from the later comics. She's ten in the first one, I'm not a pervert.

Clint, damn it, tell your creepy friend to leave me alone!

It was the father of one of his ex-girlfriends and he was pissed at my brother for... Something.
I'm fine, he's not a stalker.
I'm just a little pissed off is all.

Yes, I know nobody says that anymore, but I'm just stoked because...
I have four watchers!
*does Snoopy happy dance*
All haters, suck that!

:')
Paul would've been so proud.
It was so sad at the end (yeah, I cried. Bite me) because I knew it was his brother and not him.
But that was such a great memorial.
I've been meaning to watch those movies, are they good??

Oh, God. I love them. <3
They're all great, but 2 Fast 2 Furious is my personal favorite.
I think the cars are the best in that one.
Yep, definitely on my to-watch list. :P

And, surprisingly enough...
Hehe. I liked it.
I tried to read The Outsiders (also by S.E Hinton) when I was in grade school, but I'd already seen the movie so I never bothered to finish it.
Tex was actually really good, though.
SPOILERS AHEAD. DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT TEX BY S.E HINTON.
I thought Mason was gonna die and I got all tense.
Given, he was kind of a dick, but I hate books where the older brothers die.
Even if they ARE dicks.
Mine's the bane of my existence, but I don't want to think about him dying.
But Mason lived.
So it's okay.
SPOILERS END HERE.
Next I have to read Ordinary People to pass lit.
Not that I couldn't just read the book in the summer, but I'm kinda trying to procrastinate less.
Ordinary People is of the 'middle-class white people have problems too' vein.
I get it, okay?
I do. I'm a middle-class (okay, lower, but not extremely) white girl and I have problems, too.
I just don't like listening to people bitch about their life if their problems are as petty as 'you rotten scoundrel! You spoiled by best petticoat!', ya feel me?
If you have REAL problems, I get it. And if I care about you, I will listen.
I dunno. Maybe i'll like it.
Tex just hit some soft spots on me, is all.
S.E Hinton must have (or have had, is she dead or still alive?) at least one big brother.
I can tell.

I'm doing this thing for DA where you do a self-portrait ' in your own style'.
My 'style' is more or less Adventure Time characters with some kind of genetic mutation. XD
I draw OCs all the time, but more often than not I think they're awful.
It's a student thing, so it has to be in a pose.
Sitting cross-legged, arms crossed, hands on hips. Stuff like that. I'll probably do crossed arms or hands in pockets.
Seems easier.

My folks had this week off, so we're getting ready to move into this house we've been remodeling.
That's why I haven't been on much.
I'm only on for a minute right now, but i'll be back on Monday.
