I am So confused, Why is WICKED so WICKED. People are dying and they said "We have a cure, but make it to safe haven"

Why are they wicked, just want to read the opinion of The maze Runner series fans.
Why are WICKED WICKED, I am just confused, you see people are dying and they say they have a cure. I am so angry at them.
Note: Still in Chapter 30

You need to finish the book first Emmanuel. Actually, you need to finish the whole series before you decide your opinion on WICKED.

Wicked is good but does aweful things to kids! Wicked is good but caused the death of over 40 boys and God knows how many girls, to save what's left on Earth?
