Here's the gist:
Ten-year-old Pete loves studying his Bible but is having a terrible time putting what he has learned into practice. He has become a judgmental, arrogant, miserable Christian as a result. Eleven-year-old Rob, on the other hand, knows nothing about God or Christianity and is known around town as a brazen liar, thief and general troublemaker. Despite their imperfections, God loves both boys and works in their lives over the course of a year to bring them both closer to him and one another.
