@Rosa Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I've been trying to find this book for the longest time to share with my younger cousin. Could seem to find it when I searched, but the title seems so obvious now.

She receives this necklace as a gift from her dead mother. Her mother is given a chance to give this gift to her when God allows her to talk to her daughter for a few moments.
Her daughter/main character is an outcast in her school, and she longs to be popular (and for her popular crush to notice her.)
Yes as the story continues, the girl gets caught up with her new power of re&doing all her mistakes. She begins to take for granted the 15 second do-overs. While she does become one of the "popular" girls, everything that truly matters to her gets lost.
I remember a section in the book where she is dated to get her ears double pierced by one of the popular girls, only to undo it 15 seconds later. Spilling mashed potatoes all over herself, only to undo that mistake.
The story concludes with her realizing the best thing about life is that we as humans make mistakes, which makes life that much more special
