SOLVED. Children's Book About A Stuffed Blue Mouse [s]

This is a children's picture book about a stuffed blue mouse, owned by a little girl. She sleeps with him every night, until she gets a new stuffed animal and then she puts the mouse beside her and sleeps with the new animal. She keeps on getting new stuffed and every time that she gets a new stuffed animal then that animal becomes her new favorite. One night, there are so many animals beside her, when she's sleeping, that the mouse falls off the end of the bed. Then he gets up and walks into the little brothers room.

The next day, the girl sees her little brother playing with her mouse and gets very upset. Her mother says something along the lines of "you have so many stuffed animals. Can't he have just one?" Then she brings out all of her newer stuffed animals and says something like "he can have all of these but not my Blue Mouse."

Emily, that's it! It's fit everything except for the type of blue animals. Why did I remember it as being a mouse? I have no idea, but I remembered this from when a teacher read it out loud in elementary school, so that was a long time ago. Thank you!
