Sam is a great heroine. I found her to be courageous and brave. I would have caved in her situation, especially that scary hospital scene. She's a perfect fit for Josh. Funny how she thought he played for the other team because he never made a move on her back then. Poor Josh haha.

Yeah I remember when Joey realized he was beating set up. I was hoping Karen wouldn't be killed, that would have broken Sam's heart too as she's the one person whom she can call a friend aside from Josh. The scene near the end with her brother in the hospital gown with his butt hanging out when Karen came to get him for PT was cute though, I laughed. Glad they may get their own happy ending off the pages.

Josh Harding: Former Bentonville deputy sheriff, now a detective with the Charleston PD. He's trained as a forensic artist and was injured while trying to take down JR Walker. He has dark hair and blue eyes.
Tate Hennessey: Operates a bed and breakfast with her mother, Maggie, next door to her uncle's pub. She's a single mother to son, Max, and has black hair and green eyes. She's engaged to Clay and is getting married in a week.
Clay Copeland: FBI agent and member of their Investigative Support Unit (ISU). He's an expert on serial killers. He was vacationing in South Carolina with his friend Justin when he met Tate, who he's now engaged to and marrying in a week. He's tall with short, blond hair.
Max Hennessey Copeland: Tate's 5-year old son.
Rogan Patrick Murphy: Tate's cousin who is one of the bartenders at the pub. Declan's twin brother.
Declan Fitzgerald Murphy: Tate's cousin who is one of the bartenders at the pub. Rogan's twin brother.
Kathleen Murphy: Rogan and Declan's sister, Tate's cousin, a homicide detective with the Charleston PD.
Jesse Wellington: Clay's best man. Justin's brother, an FBI agent. Married to Jillian and father of 2-year old Grace.
Justin Wellington: Clay's friend, a trauma surgeon who invited him to vacation at his home on the beach in Charleston.
Donnie Martin: Samantha's brother who is comatose following an accident.
Mac Washington: Homicide detective with the Charleston PD.
Joey Santone: Goon working at the hospital who is keeping an eye on Donnie's progress. He's using the cover name of Tony Salinas.
