Suzanne Krueger | 54 comments 40.The Angel's Game
I would not recommend this book. Confusing, slow, a great disappoint after The Shadow of the Wind.

41. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Suzanne Krueger | 54 comments 42. A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby
A Long Way Down
The idea for this story was better than the execution. Disappointing. The unending use of the "F" word diminished what was being said..I just got tired of it.

Suzanne Krueger | 54 comments 43. Luncheon of the Boating Party by Susan Vreeland
Luncheon of the Boating Party.
Story of the painting by Renoir. the story is too long! I enjoyed learning about the site, the concept and the people in the painting. Much of the story took place in Paris; knowing the city made the historical references interesting. But the author tried to be too "artsy" in her descriptions.

Efe Just wondering if you considered numbering the books as you list them. It makes it a lot easier to keep up with how far along you are in the challenge.

The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle
I suppose I can't count this as part of the 50 because there was NO WAY I could continue reading this book.

Suzanne Krueger | 54 comments 48. Trans-Sister Radio
A story about genetic dyphoria...transsexuals..in this case from man to woman...surprisingly good story, easy read, and well-written

Suzanne Krueger | 54 comments The Street of a Thousand Blossoms by Gail Tsukiyama
49. The Street of a Thousand Blossoms
Not my favorite Gail Tsukiyama novel. Lots Japanese culture and historical elements but reading was slow and tedious.

Suzanne Krueger | 54 comments The Olive Farm A Memoir of Life, Love, and Olive Oil in the South of France by Carol Drinkwater

50. I made it to 50!!!!
The Olive Farm was yet another story of restoring an old farm house in the countryside of France. It was OK for an escape.

51. Handle with Care

Not my favorite Jodi Picoult novel...too much like My Sister's Keeper.
