Possible things to be on the lookout for.A book with 120 pages, 270 pages or 300 pages
A white cover (maybe two, for vanilla)
An orange cover.
Naked man stomach (those are pretty common) :D
Cornflour (I haven't gotten an answer about using cornstarch yet, but if we can't, we'll need a British/Australian book for cornflour).
Mountain peaks on cover.
Sharp - maybe a knife?
Starfruit - can't find it anywhere yet myself, hopefully someone else will be successful.
Diagonal lines on cover.
Remember these aren't the only possibilities, use your imagination.

Cover is also mostly white and there are birds flying diagonally on it.

I think the diagonal birds is perfect. 1 is going to be super easy to fill and I don't think it is quite white enough, but the birds are smart. I'll mark it for that. :D

Yes, dry was in the text. I enjoyed the book a lot, but I felt that the sex scenes were a tad more detailed than they needed to be. Otherwise, I think it was great, and not what I was expecting at all.

Starfruit can be in the text? Maybe China Rich Girlfriend will have it. Those books are ridiculous. There is a lady on the cover of my current book The Coroner
My current read The Hand on the Wall has glass on page 154. "He took a stool at the bar and ordered a glass of whiskey and a plate of salami and bread."

I checked, no starfruit. :D I think that is going to be the hardest one to find, that and cornflour. We may have to accept cover colours for those, but I'm going to keep looking first.

Going back to check the page she gets stabbed in the "belly" but just before that the character refers to a book where the stomach is slit.

Would you mind if I put The Nanny down for touch? Seems harder to find than stomach, and it's on page 24 according to kindle. :)
Rachel wrote: "Finished The Hand on the Wall. What a good trilogy!"Thanks Rachel. Only one more Reverse needed now.
Claiming 300 with Uniquely Us. The kindle edition I'm reading is 300 pages. I've added it to the spreadsheet as I'm starting it today.
Rachel wrote: "Finished The Coroner. I do not recommend it. SS updated."Any other mini-challenge words in this book?

"Sure can. Let me know if it's good please. I love those kind of books.
What does everyone think? Does this cover read orange enough for our mini-challenge, or is there too much purple?

Thanks Alissa.

It's excellent and the author is funny too.
Like Water for Chocolate contains the line ‘‘Tita knew through her own flesh how fire transforms the elements, how a lump of corn flour is changed into a tortilla, how a soul that hasn’t been warmed by the fire of love is lifeless, like a useless ball of corn flour.’’I just put this on hold at the library and its available so it should come in a couple days. Unless someone has a copy and was planning to read it.
Allison Ann wrote: "Rachel wrote: "Finished The Coroner. I do not recommend it. SS updated."Any other mini-challenge words in this book?"
Pretty sure sharp was in there somewhere. I listened to the audiobook so unsure of what page, but it was definitely during the autopsy scene.
Can we use the same book for two words in the mini challenge? I noticed one of my books was listed twice.
How are other teams handling the numbers portion of the mini challenge? Could I read a Nancy Drew and it count for 120? The Case of the Floating Crime Or is it considered a children's book?
Finished The Valedictorian of Being Dead. SS updated...I also added some options for the mini challenge.

Thanks Brooklyn. It's an honour thing apparently, so if the word is used in the text, we just have to mark it that way with the drop down box, no quote, no page number.
I will always use an obvious option over a word in text, but who knows how much rearranging we might have to do at the end of the month, so please continue to mark whatever you can find. Thanks.
