Friend of mine just sent me a Waterstones exclusive edition of Daisy Jones and The Six with such beautiful sprayed edges!! It follows the colours of the actual cover so the colours bleed into each other, it's awesome!Newly released edition, too... ;-) Just sayin' hehe.
It's become a thing over the past couple of years but since last year I'm actively hunting those down.

If you're into Stephen King at all The Institute has a blue sprayed edge edition.. I didn't get that one like.. Friend at work did ¬_¬
Unfortunately, Stephen King isn't really up my alley, but that cover would look gorgeous with blue sprayed edges!!The Binding is out with dark purple sprayed edges and that's just to die for. I put a friend of mine onto that one and she hunted it down for me because I wasn't sure it was ever going to go on sale here with those edges.

I'm not into Stephen King at all like, I just like the look at that book and it was brilliant to be fair!
Oh! That book looks good, adding that to my trl! Might have to hunt down the sprayed edge version, purple is my fav colour, only seems right I look for it! haha
Haha, definitely worth it then! (And it IS very pretty :D)It does sound good! I still haven't read it yet but I wanted to get a copy ever since it was published but they only released that huge, unwieldy paperback edition at first. I might try and read it during Uno, so I can let you know what I thought of it.

I have that on my tbr list as well!!
This has been a sloooow reading week for me so far. But today I am finally going to sit or lie down somewhere and read read read. I'll try and get to the end of The Sweetest Burn today. I'm not as gripped by this one as I was by the first book in the trilogy which I went through pretty quickly but it's still a good story.
You aren't the only one having a slow reading week! Not sure why, but hopefully will have a couple of things finished soon
I keep thinking I should start something else that might be quicker but that would just be another current read haha, I've already got so many.
Always risky to just keep adding more. I've got 3 on the go at the moment (and War and Peace on pause...)

Finally able to update, spent most of the week out of pocket unexpectedly due to a personnel issue at work that came up that I had to deal with. I read quite a bit but haven't been able to update. Will be putting a number of things up tomorrow!

Kate, sorry you've had a rubbish week. I hope it all sorts out quickly. So long as we're up to date by the end of the month, whenever suits you is fine.
I'm back in the real world now, so once I've done a ridiculous number of loads of washing etc I'll hopefully be able to get some reading done.

This just took me ages to read!! Glad I'm finally through. I'll leave the last book in that trilogy waiting for a bit before I pick it up, I think. It's a shame, because I quite enjoyed the first book. Oh well!I'll spend the rest of the evening The Priory of the Orange Tree to catch up on that one a little as I'm already behind on the buddy read (over in NBRC) and then tomorrow I'll start Allegiance of Honor for the blue cover, which will certainly be a quicker read, even if I might not get a lot of reading time.
Happy Monday Guys!I've been nonstop this weekend on Babysitting duties so I haven't been able to pick up a book, my current read; The Library of the Unwritten is not a genre I'd usually read (Fantasy) so it's becoming a long read and I can't give up on a book so I'll struggle through! I have two days off this week (for a Steel Panther gig!) so before the gig and my rest day I'm going to try and get as much read as possible - hopefully finish it this week!

We had a wet and windy weekend with storm Ciara, which was probably just as well given my son has started limping again. Time to head back to the GP to work out what's going on...

I can really recommend it, though, I found it very intense both times I read it. But I think it's one you either love or hate. When it's discussed in King groups there are always some who who find it boring :D
I'm generally not all too much of a King fan. I often like his ideas but the writing style... I like his writing as such and there's no doubt he is gifted, but the way he puts his stories into "action" often leaves me wanting.

I only read paperbacks/hardbacks, I work with screens 9hours a day I can't bare using them when I finish work haha! I love a sprayed edge, haven't come across one in a long time!
