SOLVED. YA (possibly children's) book about a girl with scars all over her body. [s]

I read this years ago, probably 2010-2013? (total estimate). It was a chapter book, but I do remember it being aimed towards more 12-15 year olds, so I wasn't sure how to classify it.
I remember that it was about a new girl to school, she had burn scars all over her body. I believe she was in a house fire or something like that. The main character/narrator was a boy. I think the cover was very "Stargirl" esque, red with a drawing of a girl in the middle.
