That and a BUNCH of short stories set in the Hollows world as well. So much to catch up on!!! And they're all out so no waiting, woohoo!

And then I can jump into the conversation!
I'm also really excited/scared of how many books are in the series.

Where do you get the short stories from?

If I can't get them easily, I usually skip them -- it kills my completionist leanings, but it can't be helped!

I've only read the first book in this series but would love to read more!

I just finished Chapter 11 and I'm really liking the book so far. I know for sure I'm going to be sucked into the entire series.
I love books that have such a strong amount of world building.

I'm only up to Chapter 4 so far, but I totally agree. This series was recommended to me for that very reason and I'm already seeing why. (view spoiler)

I do think the book is really interesting and attention grabbing, but it did take me a couple chapters to really be able to get into it.

About to start Chapter 7! (view spoiler)

I'm excited to read what everyone thinks of the first book.

I'm not sure what to think yet. I didn't get very far into the story and I have a feeling it will take some time for it to get going.
@ Becky ♡The Bookworm♡ you're not the last to start and not alone in this buddy read.
@Stacie nice to see you here :).

I'm starting to get into the story a little more. I like the way world building is taking place. I like the characters, they are not perfect with some character flaws.
@ Blakely, I would try anything to resist her and would probably hide somewhere. Ivy's scary....
@Becky I agree with everything you've said above, Rachel really had a boss from Hell. I'm not hooked yet, but I'm getting there the story gets more interesting with each chapter.

Becky, I liked that about Rachel too!

Thanks everyone for pushing me to get past the first few pages and it will get better! You were right!

@Imke good to see you here too!

Denon (I keep reading his name as Demon) and everyone else that used to work with Rachel scare the bejeesus out of me. Thanks for the heads up that we (view spoiler)

I need to read that short story.

Me, too! "Willpower don't fail me now! Must not...click...spoiler...must...not...!" ; )
I really want to jump into the next book, but I can't because of other challenge commitments. Argh. This is really a neat start to the series. It's a completely different spin on a world with preternatural creatures. For those of you that have read ahead, how do the future books match up? Do they get better or at least keep pace?

I'm willing to stick around for the long haul. I'm planning to read them anyway and will start book two in early February.

I just read through the part that explained how (view spoiler)
I'm going to keep plugging along bit by bit! I've only got the book for 10 more days from the library so gotta get through it!
