I’ve actually been able to use this challenge to get a little better. Although I also use it to track my library and hoopla reads as a kind of buying suppression tool. 100 in 10 months is a tough challenge. Good luck!
Are you going to count new books you buy, or only existing owned books? XDI need to work on my book buying ban challenge, I'm bringing a ridiculous amount home at the moment.

Fair enough!! I'm weak too.
I count new things I've bought too, but I'm supposed to earn buying them by reading 5 owned books first! Might reduce back to 3 to try and get back on track.

@Niki I have book piles all over the place! Whenever I bring a new book home to add to one of the piles my OH comments that I'm making a bigger fire hazard 😂

I used to hang on to absolutely everything. Even if I hated it, but it was getting way out of hand. About two years ago I had about 1300 physical books and I have a tiny English terraced house so they were everywhere. I started donating books I didn't love and wasn't going to read again and I purged about 300. I've since repurchased about 15 of those because I had regrets!
Currently I have three bookcases full, and IKEA expedit unit full, two piles in the spare room, 3 piles in my bedroom and two piles on the kitchen table... Send help!

VERY IMPRESSIVE! I made the switch to ebooks for most fiction a decade ago, which helped my space problem immensely! On the other hand, all those physical books aren't stacked in corners, staring at me, demanding to be read. You've inspired me to go through my own index of unfinished & unstarted books. But I'm going to leave War and Peace for last. I started/stopped that book so many times that I bought the cliff notes just so I wouldn't have to go back to the beginning each time ;)
@Chris Thanks!@Jason it took me months but I finally got through it. The story was great but I didn't like the writing at all so it was a struggle.
