Here's the place for book recommendations for Category 2: a fix-it, how-to or self-help book.

Sheryl (sherylcat) | 16 comments I was thrilled to see that some people consider Malcolm Gladwell books to be self-help. They are really in a category all of their own. I'm very excited to read Outliers: The Story of Success which many consider his best. Anything he writes is worth reading and I just realized his books would work for a person I admire, too.

Celine (goodreadscomcdb393) | 1 comments I just read (and enjoyed) There Is No Good Card for This: What To Say and Do When Life Is Scary, Awful, and Unfair to People You Love There Is No Good Card for This What To Say and Do When Life Is Scary, Awful, and Unfair to People You Love by Kelsey Crowe for this category. It's a 'how to' guide to being there for people during difficult times book.
