I'm really excited for the one I'm just starting, Big Lies in a Small Town. I also can't wait for If It Bleeds. I love Holly Gibney. :) I'm really curious to see what The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is all about too. I wasn't expecting a fourth Hunger Games book!
I can't wait to read Illuminae series, Sadie, The Hand on the Wall, Daisy Jones & The Six, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle and House of Leaves.I am patiently waiting for my Illuminae book to be delivered.

It's so good. I also enjoyed reading The Silent Patient. I hope you enjoy reading them too. Happy Reading!
I'm looking forward to Evvie Drake Starts Over Trust Exercise and Girl, Woman, Other. I see Where the Crawdads Sing everywhere I go, so I probably need to read that one asap!

I just discovered Taylor Jenkins Reid and really like her writing style. I hope you enjoy them both!

I can't wait to read Black River ! It comes out in March and is the third book in the Tuva Moodyson series - all have been great reads.
Christine wrote: "Pragya I read that book called The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides"I enjoyed reading it. What are your thoughts about it?
What Lies Between Us definitely! I absolutely love John Marrs. Read almost all of his books. The man has a flair for gut-wrenching plot twists.
I read the The Handmaid's Tale through Amazon Prime and loved it, so obviously I now really want to read The Testaments. (view spoiler)
Also, I'm exciting to read Lindsay Ellis' Axiom's End. I've watched her on YouTube for years and I think she produces really smart film analysis, so I'm curious to see what she comes up with.
Arya wrote: "My most anticipated read this year is definitely The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by VE Schwab..."Adding this to my list now!
I just read Last Summer by Evan Hunter I was blown by it. The writing was fantastic but the story line was very disturbing. Now I can't wait to read the next part Come Winter.
I'm really excited about Mary Trump's new book "Too Much and Never Enough" also very excited about the new The Adventure Zone Petals to the Metal graphic novel that came out this week!

How is the book compared to the Hulu series? I was hooked on the series.

The book is not as in-depth as the series. The series basically used the book as an outline or template. All the backstories of the different characters are not in the book. I am a big fan of the book, but I am afraid many fans of the program may be disappointed in the book.

Thank you for the warning.
I bought the full series of a game of thrones books, just waiting on them being delivered, honestly cant wait to read these books, loved the tv series and alot of it was recorded a few miles away from where I live and since I've got back into reading again this year these books are at the top of my next reads :) .. and hello to everyone as I'm new here :)
Im looking forward to read “the one” by john marrs its also soon going to become a netflix show! Cannot wait😭
Hi Paul. I read the first 3 volumes of GoT and then saw the tv series. The books are hugely different from the TV series but both are equally captivating. Did you go to see those places where the shooting was done?
As for me I am a recent convert to Backman fan. Can't wait to finish all his books. Starting with Us against Them
Hi Vandana, yeah I heard when it was still on television that the books and tv series were different, kind of forgot until you mentioned it there now lol. I have read a couple of books that tv series were made from and its nice when the stories are different :) takes away the predictability lol.Yeah I visited a couple of the sets, alot is done with green screen, but was good to see some of the props, the dark hedges is only a 20 minute drive away, through storms 2 of the trees have fallen since the series ended but it's still a beautiful road to walk. 1 of the sets is in the countryside about 4miles from me, it was never open to the public but we snuck into it crossing fields to get there lol, we didn't realise they were recording that day and security found us and kicked us out lol. It was worth it :)
I wouldnt be familiar with backman but I will take a wee nosey at his books. I hope you enjoy his books, it's good to find a new author that grabs your attention.
Vandana wrote: "As for me I am a recent convert to Backman fan. Can't wait to finish all his books. Starting with Us against Them "Just want to point out that Us Against You is #2 in a series. You will definitely want to read Beartown first. Us against You continues the story. Also, those books are very different from his typical writing.
Vandana wrote: "Have read Beartown. and loved it"Oh good! I didn't want you to skip it. lol I loved that one too.
I’m excited to read both
and
which I preordered. I also started the Arc of Scythe series and can’t wait to read the next two books

I also recently made the decision to read the books because I loved the show, so I'm hoping to start on them soon. Happy GoT reading!

Oooh, I have The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue and haven't gotten to it yet, but now I'm thinking I need to move it up on my TBR. I also just got a copy of The Golem and the Jinni, which came highly recommended so I'm looking forward to that, too.
I can't wait to read A Stranger in Town by Kelley Armstrong. It's the 6th book in her Rockton series. Such a good series!
“A Promised Land” Barack Obama. Received this book when it was first published but, for some reason, I am saving it,to read, in 2021. This past year has been so harsh for me so am looking forward, hopefully, to something inspiring with Promise.
