PattyMacDotComma Art Garfunkel is the best friend who helped his college roommate, Sanford D. Greenberg deal with his sudden blindness. Greenberg's memoir, Hello Darkness, My Old Friend: How Daring Dreams and Unyielding Friendship Turned One Man's Blindness Into an Extraordinary Vision for Life.

It is fabulous! Greenberg knows everybody who's anybody, worked in the Johnson White House, and tells great stories!

Unfortunately, I couldn't connect with the main characters and the story line didn't pull me in. However, many others enjoyed it a lot me than me so if you are interested in it, you can check out those reviews.

Kristie | 5928 comments Currently reading Billy Summers Billy Summers by Stephen King . It's good. It is not horror, but a story about an assassin with some morals. It has some military fiction included, which is a great way to give us insight into our MC, but not my favorite genre. I'm hoping to finish today.

I just finished The Noise The Noise by James Patterson . I thought it was engaging and fast-paced, but the ending was a bit confusing to me. I might go back and read the last 10% or so again to see if it becomes more clear.

fra | 23 comments I recently finished They Both Die at the End They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera by Adam Silvera and We Were Liars We Were Liars by E. Lockhart by E. Lockhart. I absolutely loved both books and I even managed to read the first one in English pretty easily.
They both die at the end: a heartbreaking story that taught me the meaning of time. I knew how it would have ended (like, read the title) but I was still tearing up around the last pages. 5/5, really recommended.
We were liars: an unexpected finale that left a void inside of me, while my heart crushed into a million pieces. I'm being really drammatic, but I totally didn't see THAT coming and the writing was painfully beautiful. Loved it. Read it if you haven't already!

PattyMacDotComma BOX 88 by Charles Cumming, a former secret service recruit himself, describes the mixed-up world of international intrigue.

We may know who the enemy is, but with so many 'agencies' of spies today, nobody is quite sure who the bad guys are. Great read!

Groovy Lee I'm glad everyone here is enjoying their reads. I just finished The Killings At Kingfisher Hill, and am sorry to say I did not enjoy it.

1 star. A repetitively, boring mystery written by an author trying to mirror Agatha Christie. Don't waste your money.
