Hi everybody! My name is Cassidy, and me and my family are Christians. I’m a BIG bookworm, and being homeschooled gives me plenty of time to read! I’ve been struggling to find good, clean books for people my age, so I hope this group will help! 😊
I have just release my Debut novel. A Christian fantasy and would be honoured for you all to take a look.https://www.amazon.com/Order-Dirt-Dav...
Here is the synopsis for you all -
In a world sculpted from earth and clay, a strange "little brown man" named Hopeful awakens under the care of an enigmatic and imposing figure called Pa. In a bizarre, handcrafted realm populated by earthy beings, Hopeful quickly learns the rules and tensions of his peculiar new world. As Hopeful discovers his identity, he encounters a society on the brink of revolution, driven by discontent and the promise of freedom from their creator's dominion. Innocence, the firstborn and fiery leader, spearheads the uprising against Pa. What begins as an exploration of a vibrant miniature civilization soon descends into chaos, as Hopeful and his peers confront their limitations and the mysteries of the world beyond their walls.

Hello, long time dabbler in Goodreads but first time joining a group. Hoping to find good book recommendations here. Growing up I was an avid reader but then life got in the way, as it has a way of doing, and time just slipped away. Now that life is less busy, hoping to rediscover my love for reading. Love Christian Fiction the most so I'm glad to have a place to get good recommendations. Thanks.
Hi everyone, I’m so glad to be here. I’ve always loved stories that stir the heart and reflect deep truths and Christian fiction has a special way of doing just that. I’m currently exploring more contemporary and faith-forward titles, but I also enjoy a good historical or redemption arc when it’s done well.Looking forward to discovering some new favorites and connecting with fellow readers here 😊
I’m new here. I’m an author that just released my first Faith based novel which reads like a fictional memoir based on my real life story. I’m excited to be here!

Hello everyone! I am an author who blends American stories with real history and fictional characters inspired by the lives of my ancestors in the Appalachian Mountains. I also write soul-stirring devotionals that reflect the power of prayer and the everyday journey of Christians, drawing inspiration from Biblical examples and the everyday challenges of life. My books are sold on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/stores/author/...
Hello! I'm Asher, and Endor is my debut novella. It's a fictional tale inspired by a passage from the Old Testament, exploring the life of the infamous Witch of Endor and those around her in the days leading up to King Saul’s fateful visit—when he asked her to summon the spirit of the prophet Samuel. It’s not a religious or preachy book. Think of it more as an action-adventure story with elements of historical drama—and maybe even a touch of horror—rooted in a biblical event.
I’d love for you to read it and leave a rating!
Hello, my name is Aaron McAfee and I am a Catholic fiction author. I recently just published (as of this month!) my debut murder mystery: The Black Friars https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...Would love your thoughts on it! It has been an incredible journey for me.
Hello All! My name is Anna Fowler. I am new to goodreads and reviewing books. I have been a christian for most of my life, am happily married to a wonderful christian man, have 4 amazing children by birth and 2 amazing children through marriage. I love to read and have been an avid reader since childhood. All of my children love to read as well, and seeing so many book reviews and you tube videos God put it on my heart to start this journey.
Hey everyone. I’m looking to exchange honest reviews with fellow Christian authors or readers. I’ve got a 31-day devotional called Messenger Life - it’s focused on hearing God and staying grounded in His voice. I’d be happy to send you a free copy in exchange for an honest review, and I’m more than willing to read and review your book in return. Let’s support each other

I love this journey - so glad you're stepping into the world of book reviewing. I run a little page called Messenger Book Collection where I share some of the Christian books that have really encouraged me and others. One of them is Messenger Life - it’s a 31-day devotional about hearing God clearly in everyday life. If that sounds like something you’d be into, I’d be happy to send you a free copy.

If you’re open to it, I’d be happy to read Endor and leave a review - and I can send over a free copy of Messenger Life in return. Just let me know if that sounds good to you

Hello everyoneMy name is Barbara Joy. I have recently gotten back into reading and am grateful to have found this site and group. I read just about anything and am looking forward to finding new authors to try. I have been struggling with life lately and have become too much of a recluse. This is a first step in learning to interact and connect with people again.
Hello Everyone. My name is Selwyn and I've been a Christian for some time now. I live in Trinidad and Tobago (a few miles north of Venezuela). I see Christian Fiction as a close approximation of biblical parables when done correctly. By "done correctly" I mean encourage a person to seek, love, and worship God more than they did before. I hope this group can help me find books and authors that can do that.I've got one major problem though: this group has so many discussion threads. I'd appreciate 3 recommendations to get my feet wet. Thanks.

Christian fiction comes in a variety of levels of getting you to seek God, etc, more than before. Many of the books read hear are by women and include romances, but there are also a fair number of thrillers and other fiction books we read.
I read a variety of genres, even within Christian fiction and this is my Christian fiction shelf https://www.goodreads.com/review/list.... I don't tend to be a high rater, but if you sort this by rating you can start with the highest ratings first.
Some of them I call "Christian light" since they are Christian, but there isn't much writing about the Bible or spiritual journeys, but I don't have shelve to sort them.
Welcome, all!
Selwyn, you could start with our Just Talk thread for getting to know other members, our 2025 Monthly Challenges folder for dipping your toes into reading challenges if you like, and our Book of the Month folder for reading along with the group (this is a great way to discover new authors and genres in Christian fiction or catching up on old, familiar ones, depending on which book is selected each month).
Let us know if you have more questions!

Hey, I'm Renee.New-ish to Goodreads. Thanks, Andrea, for the tips in message 939. That really helps.
Hi, I'm new here! Coming back to Goodreads & book reviewing after a ten-year hiatus. That was my BC era, so I'm excited to come back & review clean books that are pointing towards Christ, and fun. Always open to finding new books and talking to new friends!

It's hard to have much time to read on our own when our kids are small, so I hope you enjoy it here :)
Greeting everyone! I am brand new here and a novice at GoodReads in general but would like to get started and thought this group would be a great place to jump in. But wow, you have a LOT going on in here.
I am a reader but have limited time since I spend most of my spare minutes writing faith-based clean romance.
My all time favorite authors are Robin Jones Gunn and Lori Wick. I am looking for contemporary small-town clean/Christian romance. My love has always been historical fiction so as I transition into contemporary to support my writing I find myself struggling. Thank you in advance for any recommendations and for allowing me to join your group.
Blessings,
Deanna Lilly
I am reading the Porter Family series by Becky Wade right now Deanna and recommend her as a contemporary Christian romance author.
Newbie here! I love religious non-fiction and fiction (special interest in Mormon/LDS fiction at the moment)!
I’m 15 and play football for my school as an offensive guard! One thing you should know about me is that I’m a Christian—I try to love and accept everyone. I grew up in the tougher side of town, but I’m doing pretty well now. I’m always open to meeting new people, so if you want to get to know me, just send me a message!
Hi all,I'm an Irish writer who likes working across different genres, but I have written several that could be seen as Christian in outlook.
