Good move Brenda! Some reviewers have given it 5 stars but quite a few felt like me.

Oh no, haven’t read your review and perhaps I better wait till I get to it myself. Usually one of my fav authors.
Still, I’m struggling with Ruth Ware’s new one and I love her too. Trying to decide if I go on or not.....FOMO, might have to skim a bit but at least I don’t have to review🤔

Carolyn | 9836 comments Stephanie Wood, an Australian investigative journalist has written a brave and heart wrenching account of her relationship with a man she dated for more than a year before finding out his entire life was built on fantasy. It makes for fascinating reading as she recounts her experience and then goes on to research why men like this feel the need to cheat and fabricate.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments Fans of Mick Herron's Slough House series should make sure they read Reconstruction, which has enough of the familiar characters (but not Jackson Lamb) to act as a sort of prequel. Anna Bentinck's reading is excellent.
