Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments It's been ages since I read the first book in Kate Atkinson's Jackson Brodie series, Case Histories, and I knew revisiting it would be a guaranteed good read, but I had no idea Susan Jameson's narration would be so brilliant. I laughed so much!

PattyMacDotComma | 3299 comments I just finished The First Stone: Some Questions About Sex and Power by one of my favourite Aussie authors, Helen Garner.

Men AND women; men VS women? This 25th anniversary edition includes other writings about Garner and the lively controversy over the indecent assault scandal.

Carolyn | 9837 comments One Way Street (Jimmy Mullen #2) by Trevor Wood One Way Street by Trevor Wood is the follow up to his excellent debut The Man on the Street, a thriller featuring an ex soldier with PTSD living on the gritty streets of Newcastle who witnessed a murder. In this episode he is investigating a string of deaths from a deadly new drug.

Carolyn | 9837 comments I'm enjoying starting Elly Griffiths Dr Ruth Galloway (forensic archaeologist) series from the beginning. Although I've read most of the later books (picked up randomly from used book stores), I missed a few of the earlier ones so it's good to fill in the gaps. Here's my review for #3 in the series:

PattyMacDotComma | 3299 comments This is another cute cartoon biography for kids of Steve Jobs by Mª Isabel Sánchez Vegara. All libraries should have collections of this Little People BIG DREAMS series to inspire kids' curiosity. I always learn something from them and end up looking for more details!
