PattyMacDotComma | 3344 comments As late as the 1960s, Australian Aboriginal children with white blood were forcibly removed from their black families, who were considered incapable of taking care of them. The White Girl is a fictional story about a grandmother and her very fair granddaughter, by Indigenous author Tony Birch. Thought-provoking (and infuriating).

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 10038 comments I really loved the print version of Minnie Darke's novel, The Lost Love Song, and the narration by Arianwen Parkes-Lockwood and Marcello Fabrizi really brings it to life. A wonderful story, beautifully told.
