Andrea | 2164 comments Sleeping on it for a few days has earned The Mystery of Henri Pick an extra star (compared to my initial reaction), so in the end a solid 3★.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments When I first started reading Aussie author, Petronella McGovern's second novel, The Good Teacher, I was thinking 4★s, but it's a slow burn: patience is rewarded with a brilliant read that keeps you guessing, then sucks you in to see how it all turns out, so definitely 5★s

Deb Omnivorous Reader | 1929 comments I just finished Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel García Márquez I read it as part of my personal 'read the classics in 2020' challenge. Everyone claims this author is one of the most significant of the 20th century ect ect. It is a beautifully written novel, but I am not quite as over whelmed as many seem to be. I feel a Nobel prize is getting a bit carried away too.

My review for what I am calling a 3 star book:
