Short stories/Graphic Novels completed = 1st: 10/10; 2nd: 10/10; 3rd: 3/10

*Rereads or First book in a series don't count (sub-series ok)
Graphic novels and short stories count, with 10 GNs/stories = 1 book.

*New Exception: When rereading a series book, including a #1, with the intention of reading further into the series, these books will count at 1/2 points.

Yet again, I'm going for 20 even though I have never hit it. But hey, 20 for 2020 has a ring to it.

I'm making one change. In the past rereads and #1s in a series would not count for points. But in 2019, I spent a LOT of time working on rereads of books to act as refreshers with the intention of reading on in the series. I think I should get partial points at least, so I'm allowing all rereads to score points at 1/2 if they're read to help make progress. If they're comfort rereads, they will still not count.

#1s will only count for this as rereads. Brand new #1s are not going to get positive points as starting new series is counterproductive.

Short story 1/10 points will not be awarded for rereads.

In 2019, I read 6 books as refreshers and was able to complete 2 entire trilogies because of this. I did flounder some in others after the reread, but they're still productive because I can make progress in 2020 with that fresh read in mind.
